Sara announced the following on Facebook…

Ive battled emotionally with this decision for so long as I feel I am losing my identity and Im trying to find out “Who am I now? And where do I belong now?”. I started this journey when I was 15 years old!
Ive decided to officially step aside from competing actively in, in ring wrestling matches due to back injuries, wanting to pursue my passion for side saddle, and spend more time doing the other things I love.

I was the FIRST EVER New Zealand girl / Australian girl to solo wrestle overseas.
I was the FIRST EVER “Non Puerto Rican” Woman to win the Womens Championship aired on TV
The FIRST EVER WCWA Junior Womens Champion
The FIRST EVER “NAW” Womens Champion
The FIRST EVER female to win the mens UPW “Paragon” Championship 29 men / 1 woman
The FIRST EVER female to win a battle for IWA – 29 men / 1 woman
The FIRST EVER NZ/AUST girl to win the SWISS SPW Womens Championship
The FIRST EVER girl to win a battle royal for GALLI – CHICAO USA – 29 men / 1 woman
Ive wrestled across multipe countries against men & women
Ive achieved countless other accolades in wrestling – that I have probably forgotten to list.

The stories, the adventures, the MIS-ADVENTURES, the people, trained in the WWE ring, Ive led an unbelievable life!
To those who continue to step into that squared circle as I step down, NEVER GIVE UP – I gave it EVERYTHING I had! All 5ft of me when I was often the only female in a male dominated sport and when traveling overseas wasnt “the norm” . Thank You to my parents when I was 14 yrs old, I spent 1 year trying to convince them to let me wrestle. My story has been an unbelievable one!

Thank You!
