Introducing OVW Women’s champion Megan Bayne…
Age: 21
From: East Haven, CT
I moved to Louisville, KY for OVW about 2 years ago and I’ve been wrestling professionally for about a year and a half. I’ve been an athlete since I was three competing in almost every sport such as dance, soccer, basketball, swimming, powderpuff, indoor and outdoor track and field, kickboxing, volleyball, and amateur wrestling.
I started at Ohio Valley Wrestling in Matt Cappotelli’s beginners class and then went on to join Rip Rodgers advanced class and since Al Snow has taken over I have been trained by a mix of Rip Rogers, Al Snow, and Adam Revolver. I also spent some time learning under Damian Adams in New Jersey.
My favorite wrestler is Brock Lesnar.
My dream opponent is ODB whom I wrestled on a tag team with at OVW 1000 but I would love to face her 1v1 in the ring.
Some recent accomplishments are that I became the OVW Women’s Champion on June 1st as well as competing in the 1st ever OVW Combine.
