Introducing ring announcer/interviewer Diana Michel…
Q. Were you a big wrestling fan growing up?
DM: I was a HUGE fan growing up! NWA and WCW all the way! I would wake up extra early on sat morning to watch…then tried to catch world wide wrestling in the afternoon and then again at 6:05 at night. I am a life long fan of rock n roll express. Sting stole my young heart and I loved to hate Ric Flair. The whole crew in the 80s is what I lived for! Lol on my 10th birthday my mom asked me what barbie I wanted and I told her none of them, I wanted the great American Bash!
Q. how did you get started in wrestling?
DM: I had no idea independent wrestling was even a thing until a few years ago. I had some friends that wrestled but never knew. I went to a show and fell in live all over again. I guy named Rico Rodriguez contacted me about being an interviewer for national syndicate wrestling in Columbus and after much thought I said yes and you could not pull me away now.
Have again ring announcing with syndicate and then as they changed over to AWN and Fort Valley Georgia I was always the backstage interviewer for the fight TV show and I sing the national anthem at just about every wrestling show I’m involved with. I started ring announcing with Lariato pro wrestling Guild and now with pro wrestling circuit. More to come!
I’m just getting my feet wet and I love it
