Due a scheduling conflict, El Hijo del Fantasma will not participate in the IMPACT Wrestling Media Teleconference this week and, instead, it will be a loaded lineup with Hot News and verbal barbs.
Sami Callihan will be the Special Guest, and Josh Mathews will be back on the call for the first 10 minutes with Twitch news and a “major IMPACT announcement.” Plus, Konnan still will be calling in. So you can bet things will be tense between arch-rivals Konnan and Callihan.
Callihan will be in action Thursday night on Impact, airing on Pop TV in the U.S., in one of the biggest matches of his career: against former World Champion Bobby Lashley.

LAX and oVe have been embroiled in one of the most violent feuds ever, culminating with one of the most barbaric nights in IMPACT Wrestling history – Barbed Wire Massacre III, set to air Thursday night, Jan. 18.
Konnan and Callihan will pull no punches on the Teleconference, previewing Barbed Wire Massacre III and recapping the past week in Orlando, Florida, where the company had six nights of IMPACT TV Tapings.
A new era in IMPACT Wrestling kicks off Wednesday, Jan. 10, with the first of six consecutive nights of Impact TV Tapings at The Impact Zone at Universal Studios Orlando, marking the first shows under the leadership of Scott D’Amore and Don Callis, who, in late-2017, were named executive vice presidents of the company. He made a grand arrival, naturally, jumping into the 5150 Street Fight for the IMPACT World Tag Team Championship, helping Ohio Versus Everything (oVe) retain the gold.

Sami has roots in Ohio, so it shouldn’t have come as much surprise that the sadistic superstar aligned with fellow Ohio natives Jake and Dave Crist. Sami has been wrestling since 2006 and has competed around the world, including Japan this fall.
