Sami Callihan is one of the most outspoken Superstars on the IMPACT Wrestling roster, so who knows what he might say, live, when he is the special guest on the weekly IMPACT Wrestling Press Pass Podcast.
Callihan joins Josh Mathews and Ross Forman on Thursday, Oct. 25.
Callihan arrived in IMPACT Wrestling about a year ago and has been causing chaos ever since. He’s thrown a fire-ball in Konnan’s face, smacked Eddie Edwards in the face with a baseball bat – and then refused to show any remorse – and most recently scored the victory over X-Division Champion Brian Cage in a six-man match at Bound For Glory.
He’s known as The Draw, and it’s not just a catchy slogan for Callihan.
Callihan, aligned with fellow Ohio natives Jake and Dave Crist, has been wrestling since 2006 and has competed around the world, including Japan and Mexico.
Prepare now for this Press Pass Podcast with Sami Callihan, which certainly will be opinionated.
Trish Stratus talks inter-gender matches, women’s tag team titles, her future
I send you an audio from the most recent call conference of WWE with Trish Stratus. I had the chance to ask her the following questions:
1. In WWE Armageddon 2003 you joined Lita to face Chris Jericho and Christian in an Intergender Tag Team match. After 15 years, the inter-gender matches are not made anymore by the WWE, but they became popular again in the independent promotions. Would you like to see this kind of matches again in the WWE?
2. We talked to Lita a few weeks ago, and she told us that would love the idea of joining forces with you in case that the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships are finally introduced. Would you see it possible from your side?
3. After WWE Evolution, what’s next for Trish Stratus and the WWE?

Josh Mathews also will be on the Teleconference for the first 10 minutes with Bound For Glory updates and more.

8/29/18 Impact Wrestling conference call with Brian Cage & Josh Mathews
“The Machine” Brian Cage is the reigning, defending X-Division Champion, one of the most dominant forces to ever step inside an IMPACT Wrestling ring.
Cage, who has been wrestling since 2005 with considerable success in the U.S. and Mexico, will be the special guest on the IMPACT Wrestling Media Teleconference.
Josh Mathews also will be on the Teleconference for the first 10 minutes with Bound For Glory updates.
Cage captured gold by defeating Matt Sydal at Slammiversary 2018.

Also on the Teleconference, Josh Mathews will be available for the first 10 minutes with major Bound For Glory news, updates, and more.

8/2/18 Impact conference call with Santana & Ortiz
The reigning Tag Team Champions, Santana and Ortiz, will be the special guests on the weekly IMPACT Wrestling Media Teleconference on Thursday, August 2.
LAX certainly will have lots to say, starting with the OGz and the whereabouts of the championship belts. The LAX-OGz feud has been very, very personal – and was very, very painful for everyone involved in their Slammiversary match.
Just as important, Santana and Ortiz will address the breaking news that the Dream Tag Team Match has been confirmed for the upcoming Jericho Cruise in October: LAX will tangle with The Young Bucks, Matt and Nick Jackson.
Santana and Ortiz, under the leadership of Konnan, have blossomed into one of the best tag teams of all time, multi-time champions and title-holders for more than 425 days.

7/19/18 Impact Wrestling conference call with Tommy Dreamer
Sami Callihan steps into the ring at Slammiversary on Sunday, July 22, to face Pentagon Jr., in one of the most personal wars on the pay-per-view, originating from Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Pentagon Jr. puts his legendary mask on the line, with a loss no doubt changing his lucha libre life for good. Callihan, meanwhile, puts his hair on the line – and he refuses to be shaved in the middle of the ring, even if the look has been rocked by Michael Jordan, George Foreman, Andre Agassi, Cal Ripken Jr., Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Albert Pujols and Kelly Slater, among other sporting legends.
Callihan arrived in IMPACT Wrestling last November and has been causing chaos ever since. He’s thrown a fire-ball in Konnan’s face and smacked Eddie Edwards in the face with a baseball bat – and then refused to show any remorse to Edwards, among other heinous acts.
Callihan, arguably the most sadistic superstar on the IMPACT roster, is aligned with fellow Ohio natives Jake and Dave Crist. Sami has been wrestling since 2006 and has competed around the world, including Japan.
Rich Swann talks joining Impact, his debut match, the X-division, his wife, not retiring, more
The highly-anticipated IMPACT Wrestling debut of Rich Swann is set for this Thursday night when Impact! originates, for the first time ever, from Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
But before we see Swann in the IMPACT ring against Trevor Lee, Swann will answer questions as the special guest on the IMPACT Wrestling Media Teleconference.
Swann has been wrestling for 10 years, a champion around the world in both singles and tag-team action. His energetic, high-flying style has shined in numerous promotions.
Swann certainly will seek championship gold in IMPACT, and he can set his sights on the World Championship now held by Austin Aries or the X-Division Championship held by Matt Sydal.
Swann’s daredevil, in-ring approach is second to none.
Next up for IMPACT Wrestling is Slammiversary, which will be held July 22 in Toronto and air live on pay-per-view … and no doubt Swann will be in the spotlight that night, too.
Tenille Dashwood on joining ROH, her admiration for Bayley, Lance Storm, more
Due to a death in his family, Grado will not be on the IMPACT Wrestling Media Teleconference today. He will be replaced on the call by @katarinasinfamy, starting today at 2pm ET. pic.twitter.com/pTa6EGUhXb
Thursday, June 14 … KM and Fallah Bahh will be the special guests.
Who know what words of wisdom KM might offer, as he is joined on the call by his “very close friend, Fallah,” as he said. Let’s just admit, the friendship between KM and Fallah Bahh is new and … intriguing, to say the least. They were rivals, with KM bullying and fat-shaming Fallah Bahh. But, KM felt bad and said he was sorry and offered to train Fallah.
Fallah even got a make-over – from KM.
On Impact! airing Thursday night, June 14, KM and Fallah join forces in the ring to challenge the team of Trevor Lee and Caleb Konley in tag team action.
Also on the Teleconference, Josh Mathews will be on the call for the first 10 minutes for an update on Slammiversary, which will be held July 22 in Toronto and air live on pay-per-view, including major ticket news for the PPV and the Impact! TV Tapings which will be held July 23-24 in Toronto
6/7/18 Impact Wrestling conference call with Alisha Edwards

Also on the Teleconference, Josh Mathews will be on the call for the first 10 minutes for a full recap of all things Canada, including the Impact! tapings that were held June 1-2 in Windsor, and the Slammiversary Press Conference, held June 4 in Toronto.
Alisha broke into wrestling in 2006 and has competed inside the IMPACT Wrestling ring against such legendary former Knockouts Champions as Madison Rayne, Angelina Love and Awesome Kong.
Alisha is, of course, the wife of Eddie Edwards who, Thursday night on Impact!, will face bitter rival Sami Callihan in an unsanctioned fight in the woods.
IMPACT Wrestling is officially on the Road to Slammiversary, which will be held July 22 in Toronto and air live on pay-per-view.
5/23/18 Impact Wrestling conference call with Madison Rayne
One of the most decorated Knockouts Division wrestler ever, Madison Rayne is back with the company – and definitely looking for another shot at championship gold.
Rayne is a five-time Knockouts Champion for a combined 404 days – the second-most total in company history. But she hasn’t been the champion since early-2014.
Rayne won her first three Knockouts Championships in 2010, and is now more driven than ever to reclaim the title. A sixth title run would tie Rayne with her former Beautiful People partner Angelina Love for the second-most title reigns. IMPACT Wrestling Hall of Famer Gail Kim has a record seven title runs for a combined 711 days, which also is the record.
Rayne returns to a Knockouts Division that certainly is talented, and quite mysterious, too. With Knockouts Champion Allie leading the pack, the Knockouts roster also features such power hitters as Sienna, Taya Valkyrie, Tessa Blanchard and Kierra Hogan; not to mention Rosemary and Su Yung.
IMPACT Wrestling is officially on the Road to Slammiversary, which will be held July 22 in Toronto and air live on pay-per-view. Rayne is ready to rock Slamm16, just as she has many times in the past.
5/16/18 “State of Impact” conference call with Don Callis
Don Callis will give a “State of IMPACT” on Wednesday, May 16, along with an update on his health and well-being after the savage, bloody beat-down he endured recently at the hands of Sami Callihan.
Callis, the Executive Vice-President and a member of the three-person IMPACT Wrestling Executive Team (with Scott D’Amore and Ed Nordholm), will be the special guest on the IMPACT Wrestling Media Teleconference.
Callis will speak about all things IMPACT, starting with news about Callihan and his assault on Callis during an award ceremony at a Destiny World Wrestling show.
Callis also will address the new World Champion, Pentagon Jr., the new World Tag Team Champions, Eli Drake and Scott Steiner, plus much more, including the bizarre Knockouts Division of late.
IMPACT Wrestling is now officially on the Road to Slammiversary, which will be held July 22 in Toronto and air live on pay-per-view, so no doubt Callis has lots to address, and countless rumors to confirm and/or deny.
5/2/18 Impact Wrestling conference call with Kiera Hogan & Rohit Raju
Two rising stars, Rohit Raju and Kiera Hogan, will be the special guests on the weekly IMPACT Wrestling Media Teleconference.
Hogan had a Redemption battle with Taya Valkyrie and has plenty to share about that one-on-one fight, and all things brewing in the Knockouts Division.
Raju is the winner of the 2017 Global Forged competition, and he’s ready to shine in 2018 and beyond. Raju has competed for years on the independent scene across North America and now primed for IMPACT stardom. Raju’s grandfather was from India and Raju, hailing from the southern Indian city of Hyderabad, is looking to represent his heritage in front of the world.
Raju is poised for success along with the Desi Hit Squad.

4/18/18 Impact Wrestling conference call with Scott Steiner
“Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner is live and uncensored, ready to answer media questions from anyone brave enough to even ask anything of the most powerful, feared wrestler in history!
Yep, the legendary former multi-time champion, in singles and tag wrestling, Steiner will participate in the weekly IMPACT Wrestling Media Teleconference.
Steiner returned to IMPACT on April 12, agreeing to team with Eli Drake at Redemption, live on pay-per-view on Sunday, April 22, in Orlando, Florida. Drake and Steiner will challenge LAX (Santana and Ortiz) for the Tag Team Championship belts.
Steiner has been a champion in every major promotion he has worked for, with a career that has been anchored on intimidation and fueled by hatred – for everyone.
Steiner, of course, was an NCAA Division I All-American at the University of Michigan, and has since shined for decades on the pro scene, crippling opponents and bashing egos along the way.
Steiner had only one requirement when he agreed with IMPACT Wrestling executives to participate in only his second-ever Teleconference. Steiner insisted: “There better not be any stupid $@#%& questions!!”
4/11/18 Impact Wrestling conference call with Austin Aries
IMPACT World Champion Austin Aries puts the title on the line April 22 in the Redemption pay-per-view main event, originating from Orlando, Florida, against Pentagon Jr. and Fenix, both of Lucha Underground.
Aries will be the special guest on the weekly IMPACT Wrestling Media Teleconference.
The three-way Redemption title match follows the high-profile WrestleCon event, IMPACT Wrestling vs. Lucha Underground, held April 6 in New Orleans. In the WrestleCon main event, Pentagon Jr. defeated Aries and Fenix via pinfall with the Pentagon Driver to Fenix.
So who will walk away with the IMPACT World Championship on April 22?
Aries returned to IMPACT on Feb. 1 and, in near-record time, reclaimed the World Championship, which he last held during the summer of 2012, with a win over then-Champion Eli Drake.
Aries will discuss his titles plus his legendary past in the company – he is a six-time and the longest-reigning X-Division Champion, and a one-time World Tag Team Champion (with Bobby Roode), among other honors, accolades and titles.
Aries also will talk about life as a vegan, as he is a noted author of a popular book on the subject.
4/4/18 Impact Wrestling conference call with Eli Drake
Eli Drake is positioned for a shot at the World Tag Team Championship, thanks to his Feast or Fired briefcase. But without a partner, Drake wants more. Specifically, he wants the World Championship back around his waist. Thursday night on IMPACT!, Drake gets his first step in that direction, as the main event on Pop TV is case vs. case – Eli Drake vs. Moose, with the winner taking home both a shot at the Tag Team Championship and the World Championship.
Drake will be the special guest on the weekly IMPACT Wrestling Media Teleconference.
Drake will be in New Orleans for WrestleCon for the much-anticipated IMPACT Wrestling battle against Lucha Underground, set to begin at 10pm ET at The Sugar Mill.
Eli Drake has plenty to discuss and never holds back in media interviews, especially with IMPACT closing in on Redemption, set for Sunday night, April 22 live on pay-per-view from Orlando, Florida.
Audio: Impact Wrestling conference call with Sonjay Dutt
Sonjay Dutt – a former X-Division Champion who has transitioned into two key, prominent, high-profile roles in the company – will participate in the weekly IMPACT Wrestling Media Teleconference.
Dutt, who has been wrestling since 2000 and was the X-Division Champion in 2017, serves as IMPACT’s Creative Director and also moved into color commentary earlier this year, bringing a fresh, informative and unique perspective to the broadcast on Pop, alongside Josh Mathews.
Dutt will update the media on his road back to the ring following surgery late last year to fix a torn Achilles, plus he has late-breaking updates on WrestleCon as, on Friday night, April 6, it will be IMPACT Wrestling vs. Lucha Underground, and more.
3/21/18 Impact Wrestling conference call with Petey Williams
“Canadian Destroyer” Petey Williams will be the special guest on the weekly IMPACT Wrestling Media Teleconference.
Petey claimed a briefcase during Feast or Fired last week on Impact! … and he learns his future fate this Thursday night on Impact! Will it be a Championship Match, or a pink-slip?
Others with briefcases: EC3, Moose and Eli Drake.
Petey, who has been wrestling since 2002, is a two-time X-Division Champion who has held the title for a combined 310 days.
3/14/18 Impact Wrestling Conference Call with Josh Mathews & Sami Callihan
Sami Callihan has been the most talked-about pro wrestler for weeks after his savage baseball bat attack on Eddie Edwards. Callihan whacked Edwards in the face with a Louisville Slugger bat – and TMZ Sports was quick to report on Callihan’s hit and the bloody Edwards, who suffered a broken orbital bone and a broken nose.
Edwards continues to recover, and Callihan continues to draw worldwide press and critics galore for showing absolutely no remorse. In fact, Callihan is capitalizing financially on the incident by selling baseball bat-joking t-shirts – and he’s sharing none of the proceeds with Edwards.
Callihan has not spoken with Edwards since the vicious hit.
Callihan, though, will be speaking with the media on Wednesday, March 14, in the weekly IMPACT Wrestling media Teleconference.
Callihan arrived in IMPACT Wrestling last November and has been causing constant chaos. Callihan, for instance, drew negative comments from wrestlers and fans alike when, as many said, he also crossed the line by throwing a fire-ball in Konnan’s face.
Callihan will speak about EVERYTHING on Wednesday, March 14, particularly baseball bats (and his insistence that he will continue using them); Eddie Edwards and his wrestler wife, Alisha; and the growing list of wrestlers, both current and former, who have verbally berated Callihan for the bat-attack.
Callihan, arguably the most sadistic superstar on the IMPACT roster, is aligned with fellow Ohio natives Jake and Dave Crist. Callihan has been wrestling since 2006 and has competed around the world.
Prepare now for this Media Teleconference with Sami Callihan, which certainly will be emotion-filled.
