Easy. I don’t follow Foley at all. Champagne socialists are a waste of time in our society.

“Waste of time in our society”? I think it’s a waste of time shutting out any opposing view by assuming your opinion is a fact. Plenty of people support ICE in principle and agree that immigration laws need to be made and enforced but disagree with how they are being used AT THE MOMENT. It’s a waste of time to ignore nuance to assume that black and white are the only shades of opinion or fact that exist. Politics isn’t a death sport, it’s about political philosophy. Period. It’s not supposed to be a blood sport. Anyone who tries to convince you of that, left or right, is using you to make money and keep them in power at your own expense by voting against your own self-interest. Politics isn’t about emotion at its core but intellect. Do yourself a favor and read a real book about the founders and their thought process. They aren’t who you’ve been led to believe they are. If this country is going to heal it is going to need to learn how to listen again. To every voice. E pluribus unum. It’s fine to disagree, but those you disagree with aren’t any less human or American than you. Someday the shoe may be on the other foot.

DB doesn’t have a grasp of history, and cannot understand how ICE is being used. Because of the line of work I’m in now, I see first hand how ICE perverts due process, does end runs around the constitution, and essentially, has become Trump’s own private army in his war against anyone not white. DB cannot grasp nor understand the comparison between what happened in 1930’s and 40’s Germany and right now.

ICE has engaged in warrantless searches, rounded up and actually deported, American citizens. And recently, thanks to a Supreme Court ruling which reversed a ruling from a lower court, can now stop you based on A) Skin color B) Type of vocation, and C) Ability to speak English and pronounce words properly. All without cause. ICE even has the power to ignore court orders, and can actually detain and deport someone during a trial. And there’s an aftereffect that I mention briefly in closing.

And in previous on the Kevin Nash article, DB has indicated he prefers that Trump (and all presidents in general) have unchecked power.

Oh, and btw, the criminal that are deported, never serve time in any prison. That’s right. That individual that gets arrested for example, a rape. They are merely deported back to another country (doesn’t have to be a country of origin, the government can actually chose where you are deported to), where they are free to walk the streets. Funny how they have to mention that part in the rhetoric.
