Tony Khan’s dad & AEW co-owner, Shahid Khan made his AEW debut tonight, appearing on screen after Tony’s beatdown by the Elite
The Elite comment after attacking Tony Khan:
Jack Perry: “You took eight months of my career, and you just got what was coming to you.”
Matt Jackson: “When we came back, we said we were here to put AEW back on track. It’s time to change the world, and what you just saw out there, unfortunately for Tony, the best boss I’ve ever worked for by the way, that was just us trying to get this place back to what it was supposed to be. And that was our final play. The Elite has arrived.”
Nick Jackson: “Matter of fact Matthew, this is the best version of The Elite.”
Right now, it wouldn’t surprise me to see the Elite trying to take over and Tony Khan being revealed as the man behind it all. Something that makes absolutely no sense.
Would anyone care to defend any aspect of this nonsense?
As an onscreen character, Tony Khan makes Linda McMahon look like Al Pacino. I’m guessing he’s gonna be in a coma now so he can’t fire anyone?
And with one move, The Elite became the biggest babyfaces of the company.
@Luke–I can’t defend it, however, Tony wouldn’t be the first owner to NOT fire someone after being attacked.
@art123guy
True, but you’re talking wrestlers. How will he justify keeping them on as EVPs?
