Bayley & Cody Rhodes Set For WWE SmackDown After WrestleMania XL
The new champs will be in the house this coming Friday night.
During the annual Raw After WrestleMania special episode of WWE Monday Night Raw this week, it was announced that Cody Rhodes and Bayley will be appearing on the SmackDown After WrestleMania show this coming Friday night.
Cody Rhodes captured the WWE Universal Championship from Roman Reigns in the night two main event of WrestleMania XL on Sunday evening, which was preceeded by Bayley capturing the WWE Women’s Championship from IYO SKY in the co-main event of WrestleMania XL Sunday.

What bothers me so much is that announcements like these are so dumb. Cody showing up today should have been a goodbye since that belt is a Smackdown belt. Bayley is a Smackdown talent, ALSO carrying that belt. I bet you we’re not seeing Rhea or Priest in Smackdown on Friday, so why does Smackdown continue to get bastardized? I want the brand split to actually mean something again, and now that the emphasis is on Triple H being untethered, he has a chance to actually make that mean something, unless God forbid the networks keep bickering.
