Biography

– Muñoz hails from a wrestling family. His father is CMLL’s La Bestia del Ring, his brother competes as Rush and he has several uncles who have wrestled at lower levels
– Muñoz debuted in November 2010, competing in CMLL’s annual bodybuilding contest under the name ‘Dragon Lee’
– Lee made his in-ring debut in January 2011, teaming with Fabian el Gitano & Starman in a loss to Bobby Zavala, Arkangel de la Muerte & Skandalo
– Lee won the 2012 Torneo Sangre Nueva, defeating Raziel in the final
– In June 2012, Muñoz became the second incarnation of the Mistico character, following the original’s signing with WWE the previous year
– Muñoz re-debuted as Mistico in August 2012
– On September 30, Mistico defeated Ultimo Guerrero & Atlantis to win the Azteca Title
– On May 12, 2013, Mistico fought La Sombra & Volador Jr to a time-limit draw to retain the Azteca Title
