WWE Smackdown rating/viewership for last Friday
Friday’s live post-Hell In a Cell edition of WWE SmackDown, featuring fallout from the pay-per-view with WWE Hall of Famer Edge crashing the main event State of the Universal Title Address segment hosted by WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, drew an average of 1.971 million viewers on FOX, according to Nielsen, via Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics.
This final number is up 6.02% from the overnight viewership that was released on Saturday morning, which was an average of 1.859 million viewers. This number is down 3.61% from last week’s final SmackDown viewership of 2.045 million viewers for the Hell In a Cell go-home show, which was headlined by Reigns defeating SmackDown Tag Team Champion Rey Mysterio in a Hell In a Cell match.
Friday’s SmackDown drew a 0.54 rating in the key 18-49 demographic. This is even with what last week’s Hell In a Cell go-home episode drew, a 0.54 rating.
Friday’s show marks the second-best SmackDown viewership since the May 7 Throwback episode. The viewership was down 3.61% from last week, while the key demo rating was even with last week.
Viewership for Friday’s SmackDown episode was down 9.3% from the same week in 2020, while Friday’s 18-49 key demo rating was up 8% from the same week in 2020.
