AEW Dynamite ratings/viewership report for last Friday
Friday’s new edition of AEW Dynamite reportedly drew 552,000 viewers on TNT, according to Nielsen via PWTorch.
This is up 13.4% from last week’s Friday Night Dynamite episode, which drew 487,000 viewers.
The Dynamite show on Friday night drew a 0.20 rating in the 18-49 demo. This is up 5.3% from the previous week, which was even with the week before that as the lowest key demo rating in show history.
Dynamite featured the debut of Arn Anderson’s son Brock Anderson, Jim Ross’ sitdown interview with Andrade, Jake Hager defeating Wardlow in a MMA Cage Fight, Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky defeating Darby Allin in a Handicap Match, plus six-man main event action with AEW World Tag Team Champion Matt Jackson and Impact’s The Good Brothers defeating Frankie Kazarian, Eddie Kingston and Penta El Zero Miedo, among other matches and segments.
Friday’s Dynamite show drew the best audience for AEW in this temporary Friday night 10pm timeslot. This was the final Friday night episode for the time being. The show was up 13.4% from the previous week in viewership, and up 5.3% from the previous week in the 18-49 key demographic.
Friday’s Dynamite viewership was down 28.5% from the same week in 2020, which went head-to-head against WWE NXT in the Wednesday night timeslot. The key demo was down 28.6% from the same week last year.
