Biography

– In 2003, Virk began working for The Score, whilst also producing for TSN’s Sportscentre
– In 2009, Virk joined the Maple Leafs organisation, hosting Raptors TV, Leafs TV and Gol TV Canada
– In April 2010, Virk began working for ESPN local stations, but soon became an anchor for Baseball Tonight
– In 2015, Virk became the lead host for ESPN’s college football coverage
– Virk was fired by ESPN in February 2019 after he supposedly leaked business information to the media. Both sides later decided not to pursue litigation against one another
– Virk joined DAZN in March 2019, fronting their MLB coverage
– On April 12, 2021, Virk joined the WWE Raw announce team, replacing Tom Phillips
– On May 25, Virk and WWE mutually parted ways, with Virk blaming the travel schedule and WWE blaming negative fan reaction
– Virk joined the MLB network following his WWE release
