– A native of Costa Rica, Castillo moved to the USA as a teenager to begin training as a pro wrestler
– In her debut match, Castillo (as Maya Castillo) wrestled in an 11-person Battle Royal at a BELIEVE event in Orlando, Florida
– On June 16, 2018, Castillo defeated Skyler Moore & Arielle King to become the first GW Womens Champion
– On June 30, Castillo fought Skyler Moore to a no-contest to retain the GW Womens Title
– On July 14, Castillo defeated Raegan Fire to retain the GW Womens Title
