Just recently, the producers of the highly acclaimed “Dark Side Of The Ring” asked on Twitter what they want to see on Season 3 of the show. Many fans responded by saying XPW or the incident surrounding XPW owner and CEO Rob Black, his wife Lizzy Borden, and The Messiah. One of the most controversial stories of the last 20 years involved The Messiah getting jumped and have his thumb cut off by thugs allegedly hired by Rob Black. WHY HE GOT FIRED:
I got fired because Lizzy and I had a relationship, straight up. I don’t think I’ve ever actually said that, like that before. But she and I had a relationship. It didn’t last very long. Should’ve never happened. It happened. Now that I am 42 years old, and this shit happened 20 years ago, I was an impressionable kid, I didn’t have my family around me. I was literally living in a friggin garage, my life and everything I did was XPW related.
I was a pawn in whatever stupid crap they had going on between the two. Rob was very possessive, he wouldn’t let Lizzy go out and do things, he wouldn’t even let her wear the color brown. This is all stuff she told me and chances are, she’s probably lying. I just caught up in all that BS. I ended up getting played. As a result of it, I got fired for it and I should have gotten fired for it. It should have never happened. Here’s the funny thing, I don’t regret it happening, cuz I’m not one of these guys that go back and change all this, what’s done is done.
GETTING JUMPED BY HIRED THUGS AND GET HIS THUMB CUT OFF:
We just started to scuffle, they pull out a pair of garden shears, got it around my thumb, clipped it, thumb popped off. They try to go for my left hand, turned my left hand into a fist, they couldn’t get it. The one thing I hate about the America’s Most Wanted thing is that they implied that they were trying to cut off my junk. I never said they were trying to cut off my junk. What I said is that they were trying to get a hold of me, and got a hold of my pants, and they tried to flip me over to get a hold of me and get my hand. I made the joke, ‘maybe they were trying to cut off my junk’.
CURRENT THOUGHTS ON XPW OWNER ROB BLACK:
I have no thoughts on Rob Black. I don’t know what he or Lizzy are doing, I think someone told me they had a kid, but whatever. Good on them.
