– After training at the Team 3D Academy, Al Sabah got his first regular role with Full Throttle Pro out of Florida
– In mid-December 2017, Al Sabah began working semi-regularly for MLW
– Later that month, Al Sabah defeated Sideshow to win the ACW Combat Title
– On January 17, 2018, Al Sabah defeated Steven Frick to retain the ACW Combat Title
– On January 20, Al Sabah defeated Maxx Stardom, Samuel Shaw, Omar Amir, The Haitian Sensation & Chuckles The Clown in an TLC Elimination Match to win the vacant FTPW Golden Challenge Title
