TAKING YOU TO SCHOOL WITH TOM PRICHARD 3/30/20: SPECIAL GUEST JIM CORNETTE

10:00 Cornette on wanting Tom Prichard in Midnight Express: “When Dennis Condrey left the Midnight Express. I thought of Tom Prichard because he would be able to work the style and fit in and get it and I loved your work. But I did not count on the fact that Crockett just bought Florida and Dusty suggested Stan. Cornette said what is going to happen to Steve Keirn and Dusty said Keirn is going into the real estate business and that’s how we got Stan. When I had to replace Bobby…eventually all things come to pass. The team Cornette was brought into the business to begin by Jerry Jarrett was supposed to be the Fabulous Ones when he switched them heel on Jackie Fargo. Since he never switched them to heel because they got over like God, I drifted into obscurity until I was put with the Midnight Express. Five years later, I got Stan. Five years after that, I got you (Prichard). Vince McMahon wanted the Heavenly Bodies to have angel wings on their outfits, but they ripped them off. Kevin Sullivan is the one who recommended Jimmy Backlund to me to replace Stan Lane.

NOT SAM WRESTLING 3/30/20: BECKY LYNCH

50:30 Becky Lynch on wrestling in front of no crowd: “There is no feeling out process. I am somebody who feeds off the energy. The people are who got me to where I am…so that is going to be interesting. You have to think about the message you are sending. Now we are going on instinct. I think I have a bit of an advantage because I came from the independents where you get used to performing in front of no fans.
