Biography
– Poling began his career in various independent promotions as ‘Al The Sledgehammer’
– In 1990, Poling made several appearances for the WWF as an enhancement talent, wrestling as ‘Al Polic’
– Poling debuted for ECW as ‘911’ on the January 18th, 1994 episode of Hardcore TV, defeating Chad Austin and would soon join the Dangerous Alliance stable
– At Hardcore Heaven 1994, 911 defeated Mr Hughes
– 911 was named PWI’s Rookie Of The Year for 1994
– At ECW’s Hostile City Showdown 1995, 911 defeated Ron Simmons
– On November 4, 1995, 911 fought ECW Television Champion Too Cold Scorpio to a double DQ
– 911 left ECW in early 1996 after a falling out with Paul Heyman
– Poling made an appearance on Nitro on December 23, 1996, wrestling as ‘Tombstone’ in a loss to Lex Luger. He would make several more appearances for WCW through early 1997
