Biography
– Petty first came to prominence in the late 1980s, working as Cheetah Kid in the AWA
– Cheetah Kid had a brief run with New Japan in March 1990
– On June 9, 1990, Cheetah Kid defeated Tom Prichard to win the NWA American Brass Knuckles Title
– Petty appeared at NWA Clash Of The Champions 13 as ‘Sgt Krueger’, teaming with Col DeKlerk to defeat The Beast & Kaluha
– In late 1993, Petty joined ECW as ‘Rocco Rock’, forming The Public Enemy alongside Johnny Grunge
– At Ultra Clash 1993, Public Enemy defeated Jason Knight & Ian Rotten
– On March 6, 1994, Public Enemy defeated Kevin Sullivan & The Tazmaniac in a No-DQ Match to win the ECW Tag Team Titles
