– Brooks was trained by Matt Silva (aka Buddy Murphy/Buddy Matthews) and the pair remain good friends
– Brooks began his career in Australia’s Pro Wrestling Ignition
– On July 17, 2010, Brooks defeated Micky Jackson to become the first PWI Cyberslam Champion
– On August 28, Brooks defeated Justin Newman to retain the PWI Cyberslam Title
– The next day, Brooks defeated WB Bellows & Ace Wilson to retain the PWI Cyberslam Title
– Following the demise of Pro Wrestling Ignition in 2011, Brooks began competing for various independent promotions across Australia
