Biography

– Jaoude went unbeaten in freestyle wrestling for 17 years in national competitions in his native Brazil. During this time, he placed 4th at the 2011 Pan-American Games
– Jaoude signed with NXT in early 2016
– Jaoude debuted for NXT at a live event on July 8, 2016, teaming with Niko Bogojevic in a loss to The Authors Of Pain (Gzim Selmani & Sunny Dhinsa)
– Jaoude made his televised debut on August 8, 2018 in a quick loss to Kassius Ohno
– Jaoude became a regular at EVOLVE events in 2019
– In the summer of 2019, Jaoude became ‘Arturo Ruas’
– Ruas was released by WWE on June 25, 2021
– In September 2021, Jaoude appeared for AEW, reuniting with fellow Brazilian former NXT talent Cezar Bononi on their Youtube shows
– In October 2021, Jaoude adopted the name ‘Tiger Ruas’
– In May 2022, Jaoude left AEW and indeed the entire wrestling business, taking a position as a coach at a Gracie BJJ gym in Florida
