Biography
– Mendoza began his career as ‘Tribal’ in his native Mexico
– In December 2012, Mendoza debuted a new ‘Jinzo’ gimmick. He would be competing full-time as Jinzo by April 2013
– On December 21, 2013, Jinzo defeated Hacker, Hormiga, Poison, Black Fire & Septimo Dragon to win the vacant DTU Alto Impacto Title
– In June 2014, Jinzo began a run with Japan’s Pro Wrestling NOAH
– Mendoza competed in the 2016 WWE Cruiserweight Classic under his real name, losing to Brian Kendrick in the first round
– In early 2017, Mendoza signed with WWE
– Mendoza made his NXT debut on May 25, 2017, losing to The Velveteen Dream
– In mid-2020, Mendoza joined the Legado del Fantasma stable, alongside Santos Escobar & Joaquin Wilde
