Biography

– In his early career, Evans occasionally worked under a mask as Dark Fuego
– Evans worked the 2004 TNA America’s X Cup as a member of Team Canada
– Evans began working for ROH in March 2004 and would soon join up with the Generation Next stable
– On March 26, 2005, The Next Generation Hart Foundation (Evans & Teddy Hart) defeated The Strong Style Thugs (B-Boy & Homicide) in a Cage Match to win the JAPW Tag Team Titles
– On April 23, The Next Generation Hart Foundation defeated Kevin Steen & Beef Wellington to retain the JAPW Tag Team Titles
– On May 20, Evans won a Crazy 10 Match to win the vacant PWU Junior Heavyweight Title
– The next day, The Next Generation Hart Foundation defeated The H Effect (The Insane Dragon & Dixie) to retain the JAPW Tag Team Titles
– On July 31, Evans defeated The Reason in the final of the Pinnacle Heavyweight Title Tournament to win the vacant championship
– In December 2005, Evans worked a tour of Japan with the Dragon Gate promotion. He would become a regular for the company beginning in the latter half of 2006

– In October 2016, Evans left AAA and returned to independent competition
– Though the promotion had been largely inactive for some time, Evans announced his official departure from Lucha Underground on April 10, 2018. He would continue appearing for the promotion through the remainder of the year due to tape delay
