– Kippen trained under the UK’s infamous Knight family and wrestled his early career with their WAW promotion as ‘Kip Sabin’
– On December 19, 2012, Sabin defeated Brad Slayer to win the vacant WAW U-23 Title
– On May 19, 2013, Special Edition (Sabin & Brad Slayer) defeated The Metalheads (Rex Wyld & Axl Lynch) to win the WAW Tag Team Titles, but would lose them back a week later
– On July 7, Sabin defeated Syd Parker to retain the WAW U-23 Title
– On October 4, 2013, Special Edition won a 10-team Ladder Match to win the WAW British Tag Team Titles
– On October 5, Special Edition defeated defeated Battle Squad Awesome (Dave Andrews & Danny Chase) to become the first DOA UK Tag Team Champions
