WWE Hoping To Make Up For Draft List Error With ‘Blockbuster’ Tonight

Oct 14, 2019 - by James Walsh

WWE made a bit of a mistake when announcing the draft pools for RAW and Smackdown prior to the first night of the Draft on Friday night. The draft pool for Smackdown listed the superstars in the order that they were eventually draft. For example, the first five names were Becky Lynch, Roman Reigns, The OC, ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt and Drew McIntyre. Those were also the first five picks, with Lynch to RAW, Reigns to Smackdown, The OC to RAW, Wyatt to Smackdown and McIntyre to RAW.

According to WrestleVotes, WWE is hoping to make up for this “blunder” with a blockbuster of some sort on RAW tonight.

The report reads: “With the draft list blunder on Friday, I’ve heard WWE is trying to switch things up for tonight. I’m expecting some sort of “blockbuster” trade to take place. They tried to make this years draft look so legit, and it’s failed so far. Typical.”

The choice of the word “blockbuster” is interesting, as FOX Sports had been teasing a “blockbuster trade” on Friday night during Smackdown.
