Update on the AEW All Out PPV buy numbers
Dave Meltzer wrote in The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the US television PPV numbers for ALL OUT were 28,000 buys. That’s below the 35,000 buys that Double or Nothing.
Combined with the buys from The FITE TV app All OUT had 100,000 buys but that’s still down from the 111,000 buys DOUBLE or Nothing had.
Good news for AEW is a 100,000 buys is a HUGE number for an alternative wrestling promotion. ECW was once able to hit 99,000 pay-per-view buys and TNA’s PPV numbers peaked at around 55,000 to 60,000, despite having a major TV deal on Spike TV.
So that’s pretty impressive for a promotion which hasn’t aired on TV yet.
