Johnny Swinger Signs 2 Year Contract with Impact Wrestling
Former WCW and ECW superstar who had a lengthy stint in TNA from 2002 through 2004 has just re-signed with Impact Wrestling for a 2 year deal. The former tag partner of Simon Diamond contacted James Walsh of the Wrestling Epicenter to announce the news. Swinger stated that he starts with the company at the TV tapings in Las Vegas next week and promos for his debut/return began airing last night.
Swinger joined the Wrestling Epicenter for an exclusive interview and expressed interest in signing with a major promotion. He said the following in the interview: “For sure. I work full time. I just turned 44 and I am more in demand than I was at 34! I don’t think I’ve gotten better. I just think the business has gotten bigger. Now there’s a new company with a serious TV deal. Plus, Impact is on every week. It is like, wow! This is the beginning of a new peak. I feel good. I’m not hurt. I’m not hiding any injuries. I’m open to any and all offers!”
Swinger told James today that he is excited for the opportunity. We at the Wrestling Epicenter are so happy to hear and share this news.
