Source: 137,600 fans attempted to buy All Out tickets
According to Dave Meltzer, a total of 137,600 fan tried to purchase tickets to AEW’s All Out on Friday:
Meltzer noted that he’s never heard of a “pro wrestling show with this many people looking for tickets in history.” Additionally, Meltzer compared the amount of potential tickets that could’ve been sold to the first time Anderson Silva fought in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, which took place at UFC 134 in August 2011. He noted for that event, the UFC could’ve sold 150,000 tickets for that event, which was held in a 16,000-seat building.
No one expected this much demand for All Out said Meltzer. He spoke to some people who expected the demand for the event to be in the range 40,000-50,000 tickets, but not this much. They could have filled a stadium if they wanted Meltzer concluded in his report.
