Biography
– Odate began her career as ‘Io Shirai’, working as a freelancer for various Japanese independent promotions. She wrestled her first professional match at 16 years old
– In her early career, Shirai often wrestled alongside or against her older sister Mio
– On April 29, 2009, Io & Mio Shirai defeated Moeka Haruhi & Tomoka Nakagawa in the final of a tournament to become the first TLW Young Womens Tag Team Champions
– On October 25, Io & Mio defeated Hamuko Hoshi & Kazumi Shimouma to retain the TLW Young Womens Tag Team Titles
– In June 2010, The Shirai sisters formed the Triple Tails stable alongside Kana
