What Led To The Revival Requesting Their WWE Release

Jan 19, 2019 - by Steve Gerweck

Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that The Revival was unhappy with WWE and were frustrated by the lack of promos and backstage segments they were given. The fact that their match on Raw this week was used as a cut-away segment for people lined up outside of Vince McMahon’s office looking for a Universal Title shot was just another example of disrespect.

They were also very unsatisfied with the current WWE tag team division so the frustration wasn’t just for themselves.

The underutlization of Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows along with others such as The Authors Of Pain were given as examples of things that frustrated them. It is said that things “boiled over” during Raw after Bobby Roode and Chad Gable, who are the current Raw Tag Team Champions weren’t even featured on the show.

It is reported that The Revival’s request for a WWE release is currently denied.
