Shane Strickland declares himself a free agent

In a post on Twitter, Shane Strickland announced that he is now a free agent.

This leaves him free to sign with WWE if he chooses, as he was waiting for his Lucha Underground contract to expire. He competed in Lucha Underground as Killshot and was previously in MLW as himself, where he held the MLW Championship. WWE has been interested in him for some time, as we reported back in November.

WWE is set to announce a new class of signings soon, and if the rumors are true, Strickland could be part of that group.
