WWE Interested In A Former ROH Champion

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, WWE is interested in former ROH Champion Dalton Castle. It’s unknown when Castle’s contract with Ring Of Honor expires.

He signed a new deal with the company in June 2017, but terms were not reported. In a January 2018 appearance on the Not Sam Wrestling podcast with Sam Roberts, Castle stated, “I have another year left with Ring of Honor guaranteed.”

As previously reported, WWE is also interested in names such as Karen Q, Rachael Ellering, Beer City Bruiser, ACH, and KUSHIDA. WWE is expected to announce the new crop of Performance Center recruits in January. They held their latest round of tryouts this past week at the Performance Center.
