10/30/18 WWE Mixed Match Challenge Coverage: Mahal/Fox vs. Strowman/Moon; Styles/Flair vs. Rusev/Lana
Tonight’s episode opens with a preview of tonight’s matches: Braun Strowman and Ember Moon vs. Jinder Mahal and Alicia Fox, and AJ Styles and Charlotte Flair vs. Rusev and Lana. Michael Cole, Renee Young, and Vic Joseph then welcome us to the show.

Match #1 – Mixed Match Challenge Tournament Match: Mahalicia (Jinder Mahal and Alicia Fox) (w/The Singh Brothers) vs. Monster Eclipse (Braun Strowman and Ember Moon)
Strowman and Mahal start the match and Mahal tries to lead Strowman through his breathing regiment. They lock up and Strowman throws Mahal across the ring. Mahal asks for a test of strength and Strowman powers him down to the mat immediately. Mahal backs into the corner and then tries a few shoulder tackles. Strowman doesn’t budge and then drops Mahal with one of his own. Fox tags in and Moon enters as well. Moon applies a waist-lock, but Fox turns it into a side headlock. Moon sends her off the ropes, but Fox drops her with a shoulder tackle. Fox runs the ropes for a bit and then gets tires as Moon looks on. The Singh Brothers fan her off and give hr some water, but Moon takes her down with a spinning heel kick. Fox goes to the floor, but Moon drops her with a baseball slide dropkick. The Singh Brothers distract Moon, and Fox takes advantage and slams Moon down to the mat. Fox goes for the cover, but Moon kicks out at one. Fox applies a headlock down on the mat, but Moon fights to her feet.
Moon gets free and goes for a roll-up, but Fox kicks out at two. Fox comes back with a boot to the face and goes for the cover, but Moon kicks out at two herself. Fox applies the headlock again and then slams Moon to the mat. Fox goes back to the headlock, but Moon fights to her feet again. Moon takes Fox down with a head-scissors take-down and then sends Fox to the floor. Mahal and the Singh Brothers try to get Fox back into the ring, but then Mahal tries to stop Moon from tagging Strowman. Moon tags him anyway and Strowman goes on the attack against Mahal. The Singh Brothers pull Mahal out of the ring, but Strowman goes to the outside and chases them around. Moon takes out the Singh Brothers with a cross-body and then Strowman runs over Mahal. Strowman tosses Mahal back into the ring, but Fox gets into the ring as well.
Fox tries to chest bump Strowman, but he steals her captain’s hat and she goes crazy. Moon drops Fox with the Eclipse and then Strowman drops Mahal with the power slam and gets the pin fall.
Winners: Monster Eclipse
-After the match, we see that Bobby Lashley and Mickie James will take on Finn Balor and Bayley on next week’s episode.

Match #2 – Mixed Match Challenge Tournament Match: Fenomenal Flair (AJ Styles and Charlotte Flair) vs. Ravishing Rusev Day (Rusev and Lana)
All four exchange chops in the “Chop Block” that Rusev and Lana challenged Styles and Flair to. Flair and Rusev are declared the winners of the Chop Block Challenge and then Flair challenges Rusev. Flair chops Rusev a few times and Lana attacks Flair from behind. Lana kicks Flair in the midsection, but then Flair sends her into the corner. Lana comes back with a few kicks and then delivers a face-buster. Lana goes for the cover, but Flair kicks out at two. Lana mocks Flair for a bit, but Flair comes back with a back-drop and Lana tags Rusev in. Styles enters as well and delivers a forearm to Rusev. Styles slams Rusev to the mat and goes for the cover, but Rusev kicks out at two. Styles sets up for the Styles Clash, but Rusev powers out with a back body drop. Rusev charges at Styles, but Styles gets a boot up. Flair tags back in and Lana drops Styles with a Russian Leg Sweep. Flair kicks Lana in the face and goes for the cover, but Lana kicks out at two.
Flair goes up top and Rusev shoves Lana out of the way as Flair connects with a moonsault. Lana rolls Flair up, but Flair kicks out at two. Flair grab Lana and locks in the Figure Eight and Lana taps out.
Winners: Fenomenal Flair
-After the match, we see that Jimmy Uso and Naomi will take on R-Truth an Carmella on next week’s episode.
