WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament 2018 – Day 2 Coverage – June 26, 2018 – London, England
Day 2 of the 2018 WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament kicks off. We see the opening video hyping today’s show and then see the NXT opening video. Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness welcome us to the show from the Royal Albert Hall.

Match #1: NXT Tag Team Championship Match – The Undisputed ERA (Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong) (c) vs. Moustache Mountain (Trent Seven and Tyler Bate)
Strong and Bate start the match and Strong takes Bate to the mat with a side-headlock take down. Bate comes back with a dropkick and tags in Seven. Strong backs Seven into the corner and O’Reilly tag in. Seven delivers a chop to O’Reilly, but O’Reilly comes back and a kick and then slams Seven into the turnbuckle. Strong tags back in, but Seven delivers a chop and tags in Bate. Bate takes down both Strong and O’Reilly and then Seven delivers a senton. Strong sends Seven to the floor and takes him out with a dropkick. Strong slams Seven into the apron and delivers a forearm. O’Reilly tags in and stomps away on Seven. O’Reilly drives a knee into Seven and goes for the cover, but Seven kicks out at two. O’Reilly stays on the attack and then tags in Strong. Strong whips Seven into the corner and delivers a forearm and tags O’Reilly back in.
O’Reilly drops a knee across Seven and then applies a rear chin-lock. O’Reilly sends Seven to the corner and charges, but Seven gets his boots up to block. Strong tags in and keeps Seven grounded for a bit. Seven turns it around and sends Strong and O’Reilly to the outside. Seven then goes for the tag, but O’Reilly pulls Bate to the floor. Strong delivers a dropkick to Seven and goes for the cover, but Seven kicks out at two. O’Reilly tags back in and he kicks Seven in the chest. O’Reilly goes after Bate, which allows Seven to drop him with a DDT. Bate and Strong tag in and Bate goes on the attack. Bate delivers an exploder suplex and then a running shooting star press. Bate goes for the cover, but Strong kicks out at two. Bate delivers the airplane spin to Strong and then one to O’Reilly as well, but O’Reilly turns it into a sleeper hold.
Bate backs O’Reilly into the corner and kicks Strong in the face. O’Reilly comes back with the sleeper hold, but Bate counters with a back drop to O’Reilly and a suplex to Strong. Bate goes for the cover, but Strong kicks out at two. Seven tags back in, but Strong shoves him into Bate. Strong delivers a back body drop and tags in O’Reilly. O’Reilly kicks Seven in the chest and goes for the cover, but Seven kicks out at two. Strong gets involved, but Seven moves and O’Reilly kicks Strong. Bate tags in and he and Seven drop O’Reilly with a clothesline/dragon suplex combo and Bate goes for the cover, but Strong breaks up the count. Strong and Seven exchange shots and then get sent to the floor by Bate and O’Reilly. Bate and O’Reilly brawl with strikes and then O’Reilly delivers a knee strike and a brain buster. O’Reilly goes for the cover, but Bate kicks out at two.
Strong tags in and he and O’Reilly double team Bate. Strong goes for the cover, but Seven breaks it up at two. O’Reilly tags back in and takes Strong out after miscommunication. Seven takes Bate out with the Seven Star Lariat and Bate hits the knee drop from the top rope and Seven gets the pin fall.
Winners and new NXT Tag Team Champions: Moustache Mountain.

We see Zack Gibson getting ready for his match backstage. He will challenge Pete Dunne for the WWE United Kingdom Championship in today’s main event. We then cut back to Seven and Bate, who are still celebrating with the fans.
We see an interivew with WWE UK General Manager, Johnny Saint. He says there will be a Triple Threat Match with Flash Morgan Webster, Travis Banks, and Mark Andrews today and the winner will be the number one contender for the WWE United Kingdom Championship.

Match #2: Singles Match – Killer Kelly vs. Charlie Morgan
They lock up and Kelly backs Morgan into the corner. Morgan gets free and they lock up again. Morgan applies a wrist-lock, but Kelly turns it into one of her own. Morgan reverses back into her wrist-lock, but Kelly delivers a shot to the ribs. Morgan trips Kelly up and they exchange quick pin attempts. They each kick up and stand at a stalemate. Morgan comes off the ropes with a springboard cross-body and gets a one count. Morgan delivers a forearm in the corner and then an uppercut. Kelly comes back with a running knee strike and then delivers a suplex. Kelly goes for the cover, but Morgan kicks out at two. Kelly stomps away on Morgan and then delivers an elbow shot. Kelly applies a dragon sleeper, but Morgan gets free. Kelly kicks Morgan to the floor and then delivers another kick on the outside. Kelly tosses Morgan back into the ring and goes for the cover, but Morgan kicks out at two.
Morgan comes back with a superkick and then a springboard senton. Morgan goes for the cover, but Kelly kicks out at two. Kelly comes back with a suplex and goes for the cover, but Morgan kicks out at two. Kelly goes for another suplex, but Morgan counters with a roll-up and Kelly kicks out at two. Kelly goes for another suplex, but Morgan rolls through and gets the pin fall this time.
Winner: Charlie Morgan.

Ranallo and McGuinness run down the card, which includes Aleister Black and Ricochet vs. EC3 and The Velveteen Dream, Shayne Baszler defending the NXT Women’s Championship against Toni Storm, and Adam Cole defending the NXT North American Championship against Wolfgang.

Before the next match begins, WWE UK General Manager Johnny Saint announces he is adding a fourth man to the match and introduces Noam Dar.
Match #3: #1 Contender’s (WWE United Kingdom Championship) Fatal Four-Way Match – Mark Andrews vs. Travis Banks vs. Flash Morgan Webster vs. Noam Dar
Dar goes after Andrews and Banks takes Webster down in the corner. Dar goes after Banks now and Webster goes after Dar. Webster sends Dar to the floor and Andrews rolls Webster up, but Webster gets free. Andrews delivers a standing moonsault on Webster, but Dar breaks up the pin attempt. Dar kicks Webster down to the mat and charges at Banks, but Banks sends him into the turnbuckle and then out to the floor. Banks takes Dar out with a suicide dive. Webster takes Banks out on the outside and then Andrews takes out all three other men. Back in the ring, Andrews kicks Dar to the apron and then Banks double stomps onto Andrews’s back. Banks goes for the cover on Webster, but Webster kicks out at two. Banks smashes Webster and Andrews in the corners, but Dar rolls him up from behind. Banks kicks out at two and knocks Dar away with a forearm.
Webster delivers knee strikes to everyone and all four men are down again. Andrews kicks Webster in the face, but Webster delivers a roundhouse kicks and delivers a Frankensteiner. Andrews lands on his feet and delivers a reverse rana to Webster. Andrews goes for the cover, but Webster kicks out at two. Dar gets back into the ring and exchanged forearms with Andrews. Dar goes for a knee bar, but Andrews gets free. Dar comes right back and locks in the knee bar this time, but Banks gets into the ring and locks Andrews in a submission as well. Banks clocks Dar and then locks in the submission on Andrews again. Morgan keeps Andrews from tapping and kicks Banks in the face. Banks delivers the Slice of Heaven to Webster and then goes for a Kiwi Crusher on Andrews, but Andrews turns it into the Stundog Millionaire.
Andrews goes for the Shooting Star Press, but Banks moves out of the way. Dar drapes Banks’s arm over the top rope and then kicks him in the chest and gets the pin fall.
Winner and number one contender for the WWE United Kingdom Championship: Noam Dar.
After the match, The Coffey Brothers, Joe and Mark, rush the ring and attack Andrews and Banks. Dar looks on from the ramp as Joe lays Banks out with the All is Best for the Bells.

We see Pete Dunne walking backstage, getting ready for his title match. We then see Wolfgang with Cathy Kelley. Wolfgang says he has been waiting for a long time to get his hands on Adam Cole. He says he gameplan is to break Cole’s teeth and to take his title.

Match #4: NXT North American Championship Match – Adam Cole (c) vs. Wolfgang
Wolfgang backs Cole into the corner, but Cole comes back and applied a side headlock. Cole back Wolfgang into the corner, but Wolfgang comes back with a forearm. Wolfgang delivers right hands to Cole, but Cole comes back with a neck-breaker. Cole goes for the cover, but Wolfgang kicks out at two. Cole stomps away on Wolfgang in the corner, but Wolfgang comes back with a double knee gut-buster. Wolfgang goes for the cover, but Cole kicks out at two. Wolfgang beats Cole down against the ropes and then slams him down to the mat a few times. Cole comes back with an elbow shot, but Wolfgang sends him to the floor with a right hand. Wolfgang goes after Cole, but Cole counters with a step up enzuiguri. Cole goes up top and goes for a cross-body, but Wolfgang counters into a gut-buster. Wolfgang stomps away on Cole and then drives another knee into Cole’s midsection.
Wolfgang delivers body shots in the corner and then slams him into the opposite corner. Wolfgang delivers a cross-body in the corner and then goes up top. Wolfgang comes off the ropes, but Cole counters with a superkick. Cole delivers forearm shots and drops Wolfgang with a clothesline. Cole kicks Wolfgang in the face and then connects with a back-stabber. Cole goes for the cover, but Wolfgang kicks out at two. Cole lifts Wolfgang, but Wolfgang counters with elbow strikes. Cole comes back with an enzuiguri and then delivers a neck-breaker across his knee. Cole goes for the cover, but Wolfgang kicks out at two. Cole goes for a suplex, but Wolfgang counters and slams Cole to the mat. Wolfgang goes for a springboard moonsault, but Cole moves out of the way. Cole kicks Wolfgang in the face a few times, but Wolfgang comes back with a big clothesline and both men are down.
Wolfgang goes up top and goes for The Howling, but Cole blocks it and then slams Wolfgang down to the mat. Cole delivers the Last Shot and gets the pin fall.
Winner and still NXT North American Champion: Adam Cole.

Moustache Mountain are backstage with Cathy Kelly and they both say it’s a break come true to be NXT Tag Team Championship together and share a hug before walking away.

Match #5: Tag Team Match: The Velveteen Dream and EC3 vs. Ricochet and Aleister Black
Ricochet and Dream start the match, but Dream says he doesn’t want Ricochet; he wants Black. Black tags in and Dream throws his shirt at him and tags in EC3. They lock up and Black flips over EC3 and sits down in the ring and stares at him. EC3 goes for a kick, but Black counters and gets a roll-up for a two count. EC3 grabs Black and backs him into the corner and tags in Dream. Dream delivers a European uppercut and tags EC3 back in. Black runs the ropes and Ricochet tags in. Ricochet takes EC3 and Dream out and then sends Dream to the floor. Ricochet dropkicks EC3 to the outside and then runs the ropes and poses in the middle of the ring. Ricochet kicks Dream back to the floor and then Black springboards and sits down in the ring as Ricochet sits beside him. Ricochet drives a shoulder into EC3, but Dream trips him up and sends him to the floor.
EC3 slams Ricochet into the barricade and then into the ring apron. EC3 tosses Ricochet back into the ring and Dream tags in. Dream clubs Ricochet’s arm and then beats him down in the corner. Dream slams Ricochet into the corner and then tosses him to the floor. Dream goes up top and acts like he is going to dive, but then changes his mind and gets down. EC3 tags in and tosses Ricochet back into the ring. EC3 delivers a suplex and goes for the cover, but Ricochet kicks out at two. EC3 applies a wrist-lock and then drives a knee into Ricochet. Ricochet gets free and knocks Dream to the floor and then dropkicks EC3. Dream grabs a chair and Ricochet tags Black, but the referee doesn’t see it and doesn’t allow Black to enter the match. EC3 keeps control and slams Ricochet to the mat and then tags in Dream.
Ricochet comes back and kicks both of them. Ricochet delivers an uppercut and another kick to Dream and then delivers a neck-breaker/DDT combo to both men. Black tags in and delivers a knee to Dream. Black takes out Dream and EC3 and goes for the cover, but Dream kicks out at two. Black goes for Black Mass, but Dream shoves him away and then delivers a spine-buster. Dream goes up top, but EC3 grabs the rope and causes Black to lose his balance to tag himself in. EC3 drops Black with a clothesline and goes for the cover, but Black kicks out at two. Dream and EC3 double team Black as Dream tags back in. Ricochet gets involved and superkicks EC3. Dream superkicks Ricochet and Black takes Dream out with a knee strike. Black elbows Dream on the apron and Ricochet takes Dream out with a suicide dive. Dream and Black get back into the ring and Dream drops him with a DDT. Dream goes for the cover, but Black kicks out at two.
Black tags in Ricochet, who takes Dream out. Ricochet goes for a roll-up, but Dream kicks out at two. Dream comes back with a roll-up of his own, but Ricochet kicks out at two. Dream delivers the rolling Death Valley Driver and EC3 tags in. EC3 goes for the 1 Percent, but Ricochet counters. Ricochet goes up top and goes for a corkscrew planche, but EC3 moves out of the way. EC3 slams Ricochet to the mat and goes to tag Dream, but Dream walks away, favoring his leg. Black tags back in and takes EC3 out with Black Mass and gets the pin fall.
Winners: Aleister Black and Ricochet.
After the match, Ricochet grabs the NXT Championship and looks at it. He then hands it to Black before they celebrate their victory.

We join Cathy Kelly and Toni Storm backstage. Storm says she has been a champion all over the world and knows what it takes to be a champion. She says Shayna Baszler knows what she is capable of and she is going to become the new NXT Women’s Champion.

Match #6: NXT Women’s Championship Match – Shayna Baszler (c) vs. Toni Storm
Storm applies a front face-lock, but Baszler gets free and applies a waist-lock. Storm turns it into a head scissors hold, but Baszler turns it into a side headlock. Storm gets free and goes for a quick cover, but Baszler kicks out at one. Baszler comes back and grounds Storm, but Storm comes back with a waist-lock. Baszler reverses into a collar tie and backs Storm into the ropes. Baszler kicks Storm to the mat, but Storm comes back with a kick that sends Baszler to the floor. Storm takes Baszler out with a suicide dive and then delivers a few uppercuts. Storm stomps away on Baszler on the floor and then delivers a few chops. Storm goes for a big kick, but Baszler moves and slams Storm down to the mat. Storm rolls back into the ring, but Baszler kicks her in the face. Baszler delivers a chop block and then kicks Storm’s legs in the corner.
Baszler delivers a running knee and goes for the cover, but Storm kicks out at one. Baszler delivers right hands to Storm and then delivers an ankle bar submission. Baszler drops an elbow across Storm’s knee and goes back to the ankle bar. Baszler stomps down onto Storm’s ankle and then drapes it across the ropes. Baszler kicks Storm’s legs again and Storm cannot put any pressure on her ankle. Storm slaps Baszler across the face and trips her up. Storm delivers a snap suplex and then a hip attack in the corner. Storm goes up top, but Baszler does as well. Baszler delivers a gut-wrench suplex from the top and goes for the cover, but Storm kicks out at two. Baszler delivers rights and lefts down on the mat, and then locks in a knee bar submission. Storm fights back and gets free and goes for a suplex, but Baszler blocks and delivers a kick.
Baszler runs the ropes, but Storm counters with a headbutt. Storm delivers Storm Zero and goes for the cover, but Baszler kicks out at two. Baszler kicks Storm’s leg out and then delivers a knee strike. Baszler goes for the cover, but Storm kicks out at two. Baszler goes for the Kirifuda Clutch, but Storm rolls through and gets a two count. Baszler grabs Storm again and locks in the Kirifuda Clutch, but Storm reaches the ropes and rolls to the floor. Baszler locks in the Kirifuda Clutch on the floor and then lets Storm go and rolls back into the ring and the referee counts Storm out.
Winner via count-out and still NXT Women’s Champion: Shayna Baszler.
After the match, Baszler gets Storm back into the ring and locks in the Kirifuda Clutch once more to leave Storm lying again.

Match #7: WWE United Kingdom Championship Match – Pete Dunne (c) vs. Zack Gibson
They lock up and Dunne applies a wrist-lock. Dunne begins joint manipulation and takes Gibson to the mat. Dunne jams Gibson’s fingers and Gibson goes to the ropes. Gibson comes back and takes Dunne down to the mat. Gibson tries to stomp on Dunne’s arm, but Dunne dodges and they stare each other down. They lock up again and Dunne sends Gibson off the ropes. Dunne drops Gibson with a clothesline and Gibson goes to the apron. Dunne goes after him, but Gibson comes back with elbow strikes. Dunne shoves Gibson to the floor and delivers a kick to the arm. Gibson comes back and trips Dunne on the apron and then slams him shoulder-first into the barricade. Gibson tosses Dunne back into the ring and then delivers a side suplex. Gibson pounds away on Dunne, but Dunne counters into an ankle lock. Gibson gets free and goes for a quick cover, but Dunne kicks out at two.
Gibson tries to manipulate Dunne’s joints, but Dunne gets free for a bit. Gibson keeps control and slams Dunne down to the mat. Gibson goes for the cover, but Dunne kicks out at two. Gibson applies an arm-bar/chin-bar submission combo, but Dunne fights to his feet. Gibson kicks Dunne back down to the mat and trash talks a bit, but Dunne comes back and delivers a headbutt. Dunne delivers a right cross and then an enzuiguri in the corner. Dunne delivers the X-Plex and goes for the cover, but Gibson kicks out at two. Dunne kicks Gibson in the back of the head and then locks in a double wrist-lock submission. Gibson gets free, but Dunne slams him to the mat. Dunne double stomps Gibson and Gibson rolls to the apron. Dunne connects with an inverted DDT from the second rope and then manipulates Gibson’s ankle joint.
Gibson comes back and sends Dunne into the steps and both men are down. Gibson goes for Helter Skelter, but Dunne counters and delivers the X-Plex on the floor. Both men get back into the ring at the nine count, but Gibson takes advantage with a kick to Dunne’s neck and then beats him down in the corner. Gibson stomps away on Dunne, but Dunne fights back and beats Gibson down. Gibson delivers a face-buster, but Dunne comes back with a kick. Gibson delivers a clothesline, as does Dunne, and both men are down. They each get to their feet and begin joint manipulation and then exchange headbutts and both men collapse in the ring. Gibson pulls Dunne to his feet, but Dunne counters with the Bitter End. Dunne goes for the cover, but Gibson kicks out at two. Gibson comes back with an enzuiguri and then hit Helter Skelter. Gibson goes for the cover, but Dunne kicks out at two.
Gibson locks in Shankly Gates, but Dunne makes it to the ropes. Dunne sets Gibson on the top rope, but Gibson counters and hits the Helter Skelter from the top rope. Gibson goes for the cover, but Dunne kicks out at two. Gibson grabs Dunne and locks in Shankly Gates again, but Dunne makes his way to the ropes again. Gibson stomps away on Dunne against the ropes, but Dunne stomps him and applies more joint manipulation. Dunne knocks Gibson down with a right hand and then delivers the Bitter End and gets the pin fall.
Winner and still WWE United Kingdom Champion: Pete Dunne.

Triple H, Johnny Saint, and many of the UK competitors make their way to the stage. Triple H raises Dunne’s hand and then shakes his hand. Triple H says this is the next chapter in UK professional wrestling. Triple H says this is the UK brand and they are NXT.
