Former TNA wrestler Chase Stevens got arrested after beating up a drunk Brian Lawler b/k/a Grandmaster Sexay. Here’s a summary as best as I can understand this somewhat convoluted story: the two were sharing a hotel room, Lawler got drunk before returning to said room, he refused to sleep on the floor and/or may have made a pass at Stevens’ girlfriend, and a fed up Stevens beat the dog crap out of him. He was later found in the hotel lobby in a state of inebriated confusion with what police described as “swelling all over, an approximate 2-inch laceration to his right brow, orbital eye socket discoloration to both eyes, bleeding from the nose, abrasions and noticeable front tooth dental injuries.” They asked if he wanted to press charges against Stevens (real name Ryan Clark) and he said yes, so he was arrested on February 18th. Lawler went to the hospital and was released several days later. Stevens is by this point no longer in jail either, having either made bail or being released on his own recognizance (not sure which).
