WWE kept Kane’s return to Raw a secret

WWE reportedly went to great lengths to keep Kane’s return on Raw a secret. None of the talent were told he was coming ahead of time. Kane didn’t fly into Portland, Oregon, but landed in a different city and drove, and was kept out of sight the entire time until his appearance on television.
