NXT wrestler’s home hit hard by Hurricane Irma
Best wishes to Mae Young Classic competitor and WWE developmental wrestler Lacey Evans. Her home was hit hard by Hurricane Irma in Florida. She posted the following on her Instagram:
Lacey Evans, the 27-year-old NXT star who was part of the Mae Young Classic, wrote on Instagram that she lost her home in Florida thanks to Hurricane Irma. Evans said that the hurricane took her home, clothes, appliances, and most importantly, personal items that cannot be replaced. “I can replace appliances…clothes…hell, my entire home. But this will never be replaced. Never,” she wrote accompanying a photo of her sifting through photos of her late father in the destroyed home. “I could give two sh*ts about what I’ve lost. But damn this is the worse part. All I have left of my father are these? Saving what i can. #HurricaneIrma can kiss my ass,” she added. Evans has been signed to a WWE deal since April of last year and appeared on NXT television a couple of times. She advanced to the second round of the Mae Young Classic tournament by defeating Taynara Conti but eventually lost to Toni Storm to get eliminated. Evans, real name Macey Estrella, is a former U.S. Marine and member of the Marine Corps Special Reaction Team.
