Report: WWE in discussions to purchase ROH

Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that World Wrestling Entertainment entered into discussions with Sinclair Broadcasting back in January regarding a potential buyout of the Ring of Honor promotion.

The source reports that things have been slowly moving forward and while there is no actual agreement on the table, the plan would be for a full takeover if it does happen.

The potential deal would include Ring of Honor’s weekly program airing on the WWE Network.
