1976 – Blackjack Mulligan defeats Paul Jones, to win the NWA United States Heavyweight Championship (Mid-Atlantic version).
1980 – Alfsonso Dantes defeats Raul Mata, to win the NWA World Light Heavyweight Championship.
1984 – Buddy Landel defeats Bill Dundee, to win the Mid South Wrestling Television Championship.
1990 – On a tape-delayed episode of WWF Superstars of Wrestling, Mr. Perfect defeats The Texas Tornado (Kerry Von Erich), to become the new WWF Intercontinental Champion. The match originally occurred about one month earlier.
1994 – Los Cowboys (Silver King and El Texano) defeat El Satanico and Emilio Charles, Jr., to win the vacant CMLL World Tag Team Championship.
1996 – WWF In Your House 12: It’s Time is held in West Palm Beach, Florida in front of 5,708 fans. Owen Hart and The British Bulldog retain the WWF Tag Team Championship, after defeating Razor Ramon and Diesel. The Undertaker defeats The Executioner (Terry Gordy) in an Armageddon Rules Match. In the main event, Sycho Sid defeats Bret Hart to retain the WWF Championship.
1997 – In the Monday Night Wars, WCW Monday Nitro (4.1 TV rating) beats WWF Raw Is War (2.7 rating).
2001 – Shinya Hashimoto wins a three-match round robin, to win the vacant NWA World Heavyweight Championship. The other participants were Steve Corino and Gary Steele.
2002 – WWE Armageddon is held in Sunrise, Florida in front of 9,000 fans. Booker T and Goldust become the new World Tag Team Champions after winning a Four-Way Elimination Match. Kurt Angle becomes the new WWE Champion after defeating The Big Show. And Triple H becomes the new World Heavyweight Champion, after defeating Shawn Michaels in a Three Stages of Hell Match.
2013 – At All Japan Pro Wrestling’s annual Fan Appreciation Day, Ultimo Dragon defeats Yoshinobu Kanemaru, to win the AJPW World Junior Heavyweight Championship.
2013 – WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders, & Chairs is held in Houston in front of 14,120 fans. The only match on the card that featured Tables, Ladders, or Chairs was the main event; a TLC Title Unification Match between Randy Orton (WWE Champion) and John Cena (World Heavyweight Champion).
