Original plans revealed for Goldberg vs. Lesnar at Survivor Series

As seen at last week’s Survivor Series event, Bill Goldberg squashed Brock Lesnar in 1 minute and 25 seconds. Prior to Bill signing a contract for extended dates with the company, Lesnar was planned to win the bout.

Regarding the original finish for the match before Goldberg signed a new contract, one idea pitched was to present it like a fight, where the announcers would treat it like one, and the finish would be much like something you would see in an MMA fight instead of a wrestling match or Brawl

Speaking of Lesnar and Goldberg, the reason the two are being put into the Royal Rumble match is to avoid having the rematch until WrestleMania 33.
