Steve Corino to become trainer at WWE Performance Center

It’s well known that Ring of Honor announcer Steve Corino was working as a guest coach at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida earlier this month. Corino’s contract with ROH expires in December and Jason Powell of Pro Wrestling.Net is reporting that Corino will become a full-time trainer at the WWE Performance Center in January.

He is scheduled to work the Final Battle pay-per-view event on December 2nd at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York as well as the TV taping on December 4th in Philadelphia, PA.

This is a significant loss for Ring of Honor in that he and Kevin Kelly are a very good announce team. No word yet on who will replace Corino as the color commentator for ROH.
