Hideo Itami Confirms Recent Injury, Status for WWE NXT Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic (Video)

As previously reported, Hideo Itami suffered a neck injury following a powerslam from Riddick Moss at a live event in Largo, Florida.
As seen in the video above, Itami confirmed the injury and revealed that he won’t be able to compete alongside Kota Ibushi in the upcoming Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
For those who missed the injury, you can see it below. Dave Meltzer of F4Wonline.com notes that there is still no timetable for Itami’s return to the ring. He just returned this past June after being out for over a year with a shoulder injury.
