Backstage News on Two More Rumored WrestleMania 33 Matches

There has been real-life, behind-the-scenes friction between Shane McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, and Triple H ever since Shane made his return to the company. It is being reported that Stephanie still feels betrayed over Shane’s return to the company because he’s still around after originally being scheduled to only return for just WrestleMania 32 season.

There has been a push from Vince McMahon of bringing the Stephanie vs. Shane drama to storyline on WWE programming where the two would have a blow-off at WrestleMania 33. One idea brought up by Vince McMahon is Triple H vs. Shane in a “Loser Leaves WWE” singles match. However, Triple H is reportedly against the idea of working a match with Shane in Orlando next year.

As noted earlier, WWE also plans to build for a heel Sasha Banks against a babyface Bayley for the event next year. Bayley is expected to transition to the main roster this fall and is expected to be on the Raw brand. There is no set date for Bayley’s main roster debut this fall, and it could be as soon as the Raw after SummerSlam depending on the result of her match against Asuka at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II.

WrestleMania 33 takes place on April 2, 2017, at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
