– Malia Hosaka remembers the late Cora Combs:

It is with a sad heart that I announce Cora Combs, mother of one of my mentors, Debbie Combs, has passed away today. Anyone who ever met Cora knew exactly what she thought as she was bluntly honest. She had a huge heart and a wonderful personality and always welcomed me into her home. She told great stories and unique jokes that only Cora could tell. The women of wrestling owe her so much for paving the way for other women like Debbie who passed on so much knowledge. I will miss her but forever smile when I think of her.
