– The Rock n Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) defeat Ivan & Nikita Koloff in a Cage Match to win the NWA World Tag Team Titles
In Atlanta, Georgia:
– Manny Fernandez defeated Abdullah The Butcher in a Mexican Death Match
– The Minnesota Wrecking Crew (Ole & Arn Anderson) defeated Wahoo McDaniel & Billy Jack Haynes to retain the NWA National Tag Team Titles
– Jimmy Valiant & Miss Atlanta Lively defeat The Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton & Dennis Condrey) in an Atlanta Street Fight
– Dusty Rhodes defeated Ric Flair to win the NWA World Title. However, the decision was later reversed and the belt given back to Flair
