The British Invasion (Brutus Magnus & Doug Williams) w/ Rob Terry defeated Rhino & Jesse Neal during the 30 minute TNA Sacrifice preshow. The match was originally Rhino and Eric Young vs. The British Invasion, but Young walked out on the match. Jesse Neal then walked out attempting to help Rhino. Neal was pinned by Brutus Magnus.

– The TNA promo hits.

– A video package airs celebrating TNA’s 7th year anniversary with tonight’s Slammiversary 7 PPV.

– A graphic opening hits welcoming us to Slammiversary 7. We then go live to the Palace of Auburn Hills in Detroit, MI where a big display of pyro goes off.

– Out first is Curtis Granderson of the Detroit Tigers. Granderson will award the TNA X Division Championship to the winner of tonight’s “King of the Mountain” X Division Championship match and is joining Mike Tenay and Don West on commentary.

Suicide (c) vs. Jay Lethal vs. Consequences Creed vs. Alex Shelley vs. Chris Sabin

The bell rings and everyone goes after Suicide right away. Clotheslines by Creed, dropkick by Lethal and a springboard bulldog by Creed all on Suicide from the corner. The Machineguns double team Suicide as well ending with a big dropkick to the face. Suicide with a springboard that takes out the Shelley and Sabin. Creed brings a ladder in and positions it in the corner. Suicide grabs the ladder and takes out Lethal, Creed, Shelley and Sabin with it. Suicide flips Lethal in the air and plants him over the ladder. Suicide gets a pinfall over Jay Lethal.

Suicide is now eligible to hang the X Division Championship.

Lethal is now sent to the penalty box. The Guns and Creed then all go after Suicide. Suicide takes a big kick to the back of the head by The Guns as well. Suicide tosses the ladder into the face of Creed. Sabin accidentally takes out Shelley in the corner allowing Suicide to take out Sabin. Suicide drops his knees across the chest of Shelley, goes for another pinfall and gets it.

Suicide remains eligible to hang the X Division Championship.

Shelley is sent to the penalty box, but Lethal is now out. Lethal goes up top and takes out Suicide. Lethal with a big jumping clothesline on Suicide, cover and Suicide kicks out after two. Suicide flips over the back of Lethal and sends him face first into the second turnbuckle. Sabin has a steel chair and throws it right into the face of Suicide! Sabin sets the chair up and sits on it. Lethal with the Lethal Combination on Suicide right into the steel chair. Lethal pins Suicide, but Sabin and Creed jump on top. Lethal gets the pinfall and is the legal winner.

Jay Lethal is now eligible to hang the X Division Championship.

Shelley is now free from the penalty box as Suicide goes in. The Guns and Lethal Consequences all celebrate in the ring in sending Suicide to the penalty box. Lethal is handed the X Division Title, The Guns slap hands pretending to go along and then they go on the attack. Shelley and Sabin take out Creed and Lethal with clotheslines in the corner. Sabin with a big kick to Creed in the corner. Shelley is up top and drops a knee over Creed. Shelley then hits Lethal with a big knee in the corner. Suicide’s time is now up in the penalty box and he returns to the ring. Creed drops Shelley and gets a pinfall.

Consequences Creed is now eligible to hang the X Division Championship.

Shelley enters the penalty box as Lethal and Creed double team Suicide. Creed with a huge dropkick to the face of Suicide. Sabin grabs Suicide, but Suicide counters, drives his knees into the chest of Sabin and Sabin flips up landing over a ladder propped up on the corner! Lethal pulls Suicide out of the ring and Creed flips over taking out Suicide. Great moment here of Creed screaming, “Oh my god that hurt!” into the camera. Creed and Suicide then start brawling towards the entrance ramp area. Sabin then walks up the ladder in the ring, stands on top of the penalty box and jumps off taking out Suicide and Creed with a huge cross body! In the ring, Shelley is setting a ladder up and starts climbing. The referee pulls him down saying he hasn’t pinned anybody so he isn’t eligible. Sabin then drops down and Shelley pins him quickly. Sabin smiles as he leaves the ring and goes into the penalty box.

Alex Shelley is now eligible to hang the X Division Championship.

Shelley is handed the X Division Title, starts climbing up and Suicide jumps off the top dropkicking the ladder sending Shelley to the mat with force! Lethal puts a ladder up on the top turnbuckle. Shelley climbs up with him. Lethal drops Shelley’s head off the ladder and Creed dropkicks Shelley off the ring apron into the guard railing. Lethal is trying to stand up on the ladder when Suicide grabs Creed and drops him over the ladder. The ladder flips up with Lethal on it and Lethal goes flying into the ring. Lethal almost dropped on his neck really badly there. Sabin is now free from the penalty box, springboards in and takes out Lethal with a Tornado DDT. Sabin pins Lethal and gets the pinfall.

Chris Sabin is now eligible to hang the X Division Championship.

Everyone is now eligible to hang the X Division Title as Lethal heads to the penalty box. In the ring, Creed takes out Sabin flipping him back. Shelley then drops Creed over the mat with force. Suicide springboards in and takes out Shelley. Sabin then puts Suicide up on his shoulders and hits the Cradle Shock. Sabin points up as the crowd cheers. Sabin grabs the ladder, starts climbing up with the title in hand, Suicide grabs Sabin, pulls him down, Sabin kicks him and sends him into the corner. Sabin with a huge hesitation dropkick to Suicide in the corner who was in a tree of woe in the corner. Lethal is now free from the penalty box as Sabin starts climbing up the ladder again. Lethal jumps in, grabs Sabin and takes him down with a big back suplex. Shelley with a frog splash off top taking out Lethal. Shelley with a superkick to Suicide. Shelley takes the ladder down and sets it across the guard railing and ring apron. Creed with a big kick to Shelley’s head when he returns to the ring. Creed with a scoop slam on Suicide. Sabin crotches Lethal on the top. Sabin is knocked back first into the ladder when he was knocked off the ring apron. Shelley with a dropkick off the top on SUicide. Shelley with a baseball slide dropkick into Suicide who falls into a chair setup. Shelley then springboards out and takes out Suicide. Lethal goes up top, jumps and drops an elbow over Sabin across the ladder! Shelley and Creed begin exchanging punches and elbows on the ring apron. Shelley superkicks Creed on the ring apron and then follows it up with a Sliced Bread! Suicide then goes after Shelley. Shelley attempts a Sliced Bread on the floor, but Suicide counters and tosses Shelley over the guard railing into the crowd. Suicide tosses the ladder back inside, grabs the title, climbs up, but Lethal walks in and pushes the ladder over into the ropes. Suicide is able to hold on and go up to the top of the penalty box. Lethal tries using the ladder as a weapon, but Suicide takes it from him and hits Lethal with it from the top of the penalty box. Creed climbs up the penalty box and Suicide pulls him up. Shelley tosses another ladder in the ring and sets it up in the ring. Shelley grabs the belt, Suicide keeps the ladder over Lethal, climbs over it, jumps, grabs Shelley and takes him out in mid air. Suicide grabs the belt, climbs up the ladder and hangs the title.

– We then go to ringside as Tenay and West go over the rest of the card tonight.

– Backstage, Lauren is with Shane Douglas. Douglas talked about his past in TNA and wrestling career. He said Daniels was lucky when Jeff Jarrett brought him back to TNA.

Before the match, Shane Douglas grabs a mic and tells them to cut the damn music. He said this must be what a second rate sports city like Detroit treats a legend from Pittsburgh.

The bell rings and they get in each others face. Daniels pushes Douglas away. Douglas then comes in with a kick and some stiff forearms to the back. Daniels with a dropkick to the knees that sends Douglas down allowing Daniels to lock on a side headlock. Douglas counters out and walks over the back of Daniels. Daniels with a drop toe hold on Douglas and Daniels stands over the back of Douglas this time. Daniels with some stiff right hands to Douglas followed by a dropkick into the corner. Daniels with kicks to Douglas in the corner. Daniels picks up Douglas and drops him down applying a side headlock. Daniels with a shoulder block on Douglas and drops down into another side headlock. Daniels with a dropkick and spin kick combo on Douglas, pinfall and Douglas kicks out after two. Daniels sends Douglas into the ropes who stops himself and bails to the outside to take a break. Daniels with a split leg moonsault off the ropes taking out Douglas on the outside. Daniels drives Douglas’ head into the ring apron repeatedly and yells out, “Nobody takes my spot!” Daniels with chops and elbows to Douglas in the outside. Douglas comes back sending Daniels into the steel ring steps. Daniels favors his shoulder/arm and Douglas does this a second time. Douglas then tosses Daniels back in the ring and applies a submission over his bad arm. Daniels fights out, hits the ropes and Douglas drops him quickly. Douglas then wrenches back on Daniels’ arm. Daniels gets his foot on the bottom rope to break up the submission. Daniels kicks Douglas away and connects with a kick to the back of the head. Daniels with two clotheslines on Douglas and a suplex into a bridge that results in a two count. Douglas then kicks Daniels in the face when he stands over him. Daniels and Douglas then start exchanging right hands. Daniels gets the better of Douglas with rights and chops. Douglas then grabs Daniels, attempts a belly-to-belly, but Daniels counters with a back heel trip. Daniels then connects with the BME off the top turnbuckle, hooks the leg and gets the pinfall.

Winner: Daniels

After the match, Shane Douglas is upset over the loss as Daniels heads up the ramp celebrating his win.

– Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with TNA World Champion Mick Foley. Borash said Foley has a 20% chance of winning tonight. Foley said he was never good at math, but his chances are actually 40% since he feels Jeff Jarrett will be in his corner tonight since it is for the better of the company that he say champion. Foley starts singing, “I got the World Title…in my hands…I got the World Title…in my hands.” Borash then gives Foley a package and says he better open this up tonight. Foley takes it and heads out continuing to sing.

– A video package runs highlighting the events between TNA Knockouts Champion Angelina Love and newcomer Tara (former WWE Diva Victoria) leading into tonight’s match for the TNA X Division Championship.

The bell rings and both ladies stare each other down. Love pushes Tara away and poses. Love with a headlock, hits the ropes and takes out Tara with a quick shoulder block. Love takes the back of Tara, trips her up, Tara falls to her face and paint brushes her with some slaps. Tara comes back with some big rights, kick and pulls her up over her back by her hair. Tara does this a second time and drops Love back with force. Tara then tosses Tara across the ring by her hair, hooks the leg and Love quickly kicks outs after a one count. Love bails to the outside and is checked on by Sky and Rayne. Tara then kicks Love right into the steel guard railing. Tara grabs Love, sends her back in the ring and Tara is tripped up by Sky and Rayne causing Tara to drop down on the ring apron face first. Tara is tossed back in and Love goes for a quick pinfall that results in a two count. Love then mounts Tara and gets in some shots. Love slams the head of Tara into the mat repeatedly. Tara with some body shots and then a sunset flip that results in a two count. Love with a lifting knee to the head of Tara followed by a spin kick, cover and Tara kicks out after two. Tenay mentioned on commentary that Team 3D had yet to arrive in Detroit after an appearance in Japan this weekend. Tara is tossed out allowing Sky and Rayne to double team her on the outside including a shot into the steel ring steps. Tara is tossed back in, Love covers and Tara gets a shoulder up after two. Love with shots to Tara, but Tara gets a comeback with a series of clotheslines. Tara with a big scoop slam on Love. Tara then puts Love on her shoulders, flips her around and connects with a big side slam. Tara gets the psycho look on her face and goes after Velvet Sky hitting her with some big rights along with Madison Rayne. Tara returns to the ring, takes a shot from Love, falls into the ropes, Sky sprays some perfume in the face of Tara and Love takes advantage with the referee’s back turned to hit a downward spiral and get the pinfall.

– Backstage, Lauren is with Dr. Stevie and Daffney with Raven in the background. Dr. Stevie said he tried to help Abyss spending hundreds of hours with him, but he discovered he could never be fixed. He said the saddest part is that Taylor Wilde has to get dragged into this situation tonight. Raven walks up and tells Lauren that he likes her saying she reaks of sadness and it turns him on. He said he is hopeless just like Abyss is and ends the promo laughing which turns into crying.

Abyss & Taylor Wilde vs. Raven & Daffney

Abyss and Wilde charge the ring to get the match started. Abyss takes Raven down to the corner with some big right hands, while Wilde gets Daffney up in the corner. Abyss and Wilde send Raven and Daffney into each other with an irish whip. Raven is then sent into Daffney in the corner. Abyss then lifts Wilde up in the air who comes down hard on Raven. Abyss attempts a body splash in the corner, but Raven moves and Abyss takes out Daffney instead. Raven grabs a trash can and Abyss punches it in Raven’s face. Wilde plants Daffney with a scoop slam, but is tripped up by Dr. Stevie when she hit the ropes. Abyss then grabs Daffney, lifts her up and drops her over the top onto Dr. Stevie and Raven. Wilde then goes up to the top turnbuckle and takes out Daffney, Raven and Dr. Stevie with a cross body! Wilde with kicks to the body of Daffney on the outside as Abyss and Raven start brawling into the crowd. Daffney starts getting the better of Wilde as Raven hits a side russian leg sweep on Abyss into the guard railing. Daffney then jumps on the back of Abyss. Wilde grabs a pan and cracks it over the back of Daffney causing her to fall back off Abyss. Raven cracks a trash can lid over the head of Abyss as they fight more into the crowd.

Raven is sent into some steel railing near the entrance area. Raven then counters sending Abyss into the guard railing and then dropping some over his neck. Raven heads backstage and then pulls a table out positioning it near the entrance area. Raven grabs Abyss and brings him near the table when Abyss fights back sending Raven into the steel railing. Wilde and Daffney also fight into the crowd and fight near where Abyss and Raven area. Wilde puts Daffney over the table and starts climbing up the TNA entrance set. Wilde gets to her feet, the crowd cheers, Wilde jumps and crashes over Daffney breaking the table. Abyss and Raven then fight away from that area and head back towards the ring. Raven gets a kendo stick, but Abyss hits him with a big right causing Raven to drop it. Raven rolls back in the ring as Abyss grabs a black bag from under the ring. Abyss gets in the ring and holds the bag up. Dr. Stevie is in the ring and hits Abyss with a steel chair. Abyss is down and busted open after the chair shot. Raven sets the chair up, grabs Abyss and gives him a drop toe hold right on top of the chair. Dr. Stevie starts tossing more weapons into the ring as Raven grabs a kendo stick. Raven cracks it over the head of Abyss a few times.

Raven covers Abyss, but Abyss kicks out after two. Raven grabs the kendo stick again and starts choking Abyss with it against the ropes. Wilde then hits Raven with a trash can lid to break it up. Daffney then cracks a pan over the head of Wilde. In the ring, Raven cracks a trash can over the head and body of Abyss. Abyss still fights to his feet and levels Raven with a big boot. Abyss grabs the kendo stick and cracks it over the back of Raven. Abyss signals for a chokeslam and connects with Raven. The referee distracts Dr. Stevie as Abyss goes for the pinfall. Abyss grabs Dr. Stevie, but Raven hits Abyss over the back with a trash can. Raven then winds up with the trash can and ends up taking out Dr. Stevie by accident. Abyss then launches Wilde off the top rope onto Raven. Abyss goes for the cover, but Dr. Stevie is now holding on to the referee as he fell back on the ring apron. Abyss then grabs the black bag, pours it out and reveals they are tacks. Daffney is up behind Abyss and attempts some forearms to the back. Abyss teases he is going to take out Daffney when she runs into Wilde who press slams her onto the tacks! Wilde then jumps on Daffney making it worse going for a pinfall when Dr. Stevie breaks it up.

Abyss then grabs Dr. Stevie and Raven hits a chair shot on the back. Raven with an Evenflow DDT on Abyss onto the steel chair, cover and Abyss somehow kicks out! Abyss then hits a Black Hole Slam on Raven onto the tacks and ends up landing one of his hands into the tacks as it does down. Abyss covers Raven and gets the pinfall.

Winners: Abyss & Taylor Wilde

– Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with Jeff Jarrett. Borash brings up how Jarrett said he had no desire to become TNA World Heavyweight Champion, but yet stated tonight is where he takes his company back. He asks if that is a contradiction. Jarrett said he still has no desire to become champion, but order needs to be restored in TNA and Mick Foley can’t be allowed to hold that title any longer. Borash wants Jarrett’s reaction from Foley’s comments earlier. Jarrett said after he wins the TNA Title then he will decide what he will do with it.

– A video package runs highlighting the events involving Matt Morgan and how he has tried to land a spot in the Main Event Mafia and can do so tonight with a win over Sting.

Lock up and Morgan tosses Sting through the ropes to the outside with force. Morgan leaves the ring and tosses Sting into the steel guard railing a few times. Morgan then picks Sting up by his legs and tosses his body into the steel guard railing as well. Morgan grabs Sting, tosses him back in the ring, but Sting crotches Morgan using the middle rope as he tried to get in. Sting drops Morgan’s head off the top rope and then hits a lifting knee that sends Morgan out into the announce table. Sting sends Morgan into the guard railing and then hits a big right as Morgan walks away bailing back in the ring. Sting is back in, attempts a shoulder block, Morgan stays up, attempts a second and Morgan still stays up. Morgan then takes out Sting with a big clothesline. Tenay announces that Team 3D have just barely made it on time arriving to the arena from Japan. Morgan props Sting up in the corner and hits a few elbows to the head. Morgan with a leg drop on Sting in the middle of the ring, cover and Sting kicks out after two. Morgan with a body splash and side slam combo on Sting, cover and Sting kicks out after two. Morgan drapes Sting across the ropes, hits the ropes and then drops his body over Sting.

Morgan then drops a leg over the neck of Sting on the ring apron, rolls in, covers and Sting gets a shoulder up after two. Morgan with a side headlock on Sting. Sting tries fighting back, but Morgan throws him down. Morgan goes back to the headlock. Sting fights to his feet, hits a few elbows and a big right hand. Sting and Morgan exchange big right hands. Sting with kicks to Morgan. Morgan catches Sting with an elbow in the corner, misses a body splash, Sting goes up top and hits a missle dropkick in rare form! Morgan counters a Stinger Splash attempt into a big boot on Sting, covers and Sting barely gets a shoulder up after two. Morgan lifts Sting up, but Sting appears to have botched the counter and both fall down. Sting with a Scorpion Deathdrop on Morgan, covers and Morgan kicks out after two. Sting then hits a big kick to the head of Morgan and then locks on the Scorpion Deathlock. Morgan then immediately breaks the hold. Morgan misses a charge in the corner, Sting jumps up on the corner on Morgan and falls back hitting another Scorpion Deathdrop. Sting covers Morgan and gets the pinfall.

Winner: Sting

After the match, Sting celebrates his win in the ring saluting the crowd.

– A promo airs announcing that Bound For Glory on October 18 will be held in Los Angeles.

– Backstage, Lauren is with Samoa Joe and TNA Legends Champion AJ Styles. Styles said tonight’s main event is about strategy and said he didn’t care if it was Joe or himself, they were going to put this company back into the hands of the guys who started this place. He said they are taking back what is rightfully theirs. Joe said he promised a Nation of Violence would take out the Mafia and tonight it ends with Kurt Angle. He said he is hunting tonight and “we” will become the most dominant force in professional wrestling.

– A video package runs highlighting the events between Team 3D and Beer Money with Beer Money winning the Team 3D Invitational Tag Team Tournament and earning a shot at the TNA World Tag Team Championships tonight at Slammiversary 7.

Team 3D (c’s) vs. Beer Money, Inc.

We start with Brother Devon and James Storm. Storm ducks and gets in a quick right jab to Devon. Storm dodges some lefts and rights from Devon and locks on a side headlock. Storm with another big right on Devon, hits the ropes and takes out Devon with a tilt-a-whirl takedown. Devon with a quick right that takes Storm down followed by a scoop slam. Devon with a diving headbutt off the ropes, cover and Storm quickly kicks out after two. Tag to Robert Roode who hits an atomic drop followed by a side leg sweep by Storm. Roode then drops a knee over the head of Devon, cover and gets a two count. Devon pushes Roode to the corner and Brother Ray gets the tag as Roode quickly backs off. Lock up and Ray pushes Roode into the corner. Ray eats a big kick from Roode, but fires back with a right hand. Roode hits a big right as well. Both exchange right hands and Roode hits another big kick to Roode. Ray with a big boot to Roode who quickly gets up, attempts a clothesline and Ray brushes it off. Roode finally takes Ray off his feet with a flying clothesline, but Ray is right back up and pushes Roode to the corner. Ray with a big chest chop to Roode. Roode yells out for more and Ray hits another chest chop. Ray then hits a third stiff chest chop.

Roode with chops of his own to Ray and Ray counters with a HUGE release german suplex. Roode with right hands and chops to Ray. Roode attempts a sunset flip on Ray, but Ray breaks it up and tags in Devon. 3D with a side slam/leg drop combo on Roode, cover and Roode kicks out after two. Roode with a lifting knee to Devon and tag to Storm. Roode and Storm attempt a double suplex on Devon, but Ray pushes Devon back down and Devon hits a double clothelines on Roode and Storm. Devon with a big boot to Storm in the corner, but Roode trips up Devon and low blows him into the steel ring post. Storm mounts Devon and hits some right hands. Storm with a big clothesline on Devon and tag back to Roode. Roode starts choking Devon and breaks it up after three. Roode with a headlock applied on Devon. Roode catches Devon with an elbow after Devon hit the ropes. Tag back to Storm who gets in a big right. Storm and Devon hit each other with a big double clothesline in the middle of the ring. Tags to Ray and Roode. Ray levels Roode with two clotheslines, a high back body drop, but takes a kick, dodges a clothesline and connects with a huge Full Nelson Bomb on Roode. Cover and Storm breaks it up, but gets tossed out for his troubles.

Storm with a kick to Ray when Ray was getting ready to connect with a 3D when Devon lifted Roode up and down. Storm gets tossed out again as Ray scoop slams Roode near the corner. Devon goes up top and connects with the diving headbutt on Roode. 3D ask the crowd what they want next and they scream, “GET THE TABLES!” Devon leaves the ring, pulls a table out and sets it up. Storm then runs up and cuts off Devon. Ray pulls Storm by the hair, but Roode comes from behind and plants Ray with a big spinebuster. Cover by Roode and Ray kicks out after two. Beer Money with a double clothesline on Ray. They do the “BEER!” and “MONEY!” routine afterwards that pops the crowd. Storm takes a bow as we see The British Invasion walking down the ramp. The fans start a loud “USA!” chant. They head over to the announce table as Doug Williams and Brutus Magnus put on headsets. In the ring, Ray plants Roode with a big Rock Bottom after a kick to Storm. Tag to Devon who takes out Roode and Storm with big right hands. Devon with a high back body drop on Roode and a big elbow on Storm. Devon plants Roode down hard, covers and only gets a two count. Devon with a big clothesline on Storm and another big one on Roode. Devon with a big powerslam on Roode and a modified chokeslam on Roode.

Cover and Storm breaks it up. Ray takes out Storm with a big right hand kicking him to the outside. Ray lifts Roode up hitting a modified 3D along with Devon. Cover and Roode kicks out after two. Storm is up top and takes out 3D with a double cross body! Devon with a big boot to Storm and a clothesline to Roode. Ray puts Roode on his shoulders as Devon goes up top on the opposite corner. Roode then jumps off and pushes Ray right into Devon. Storm hits a backcracker on Ray. Storm goes up top and hits a huracanrana on Devon. Roode then comes off the top and connects with a frog splash, cover and Devon kicks out after two. Roode and Storm prop Devon up on the top rope. Ray walks up and knocks Storm away to the outside. Ray puts Roode on his shoulders and Devon hits a top rope clothesline, covers and Roode somehow kicks out. Storm accidentally spits beer in the face of Roode allowing Ray and Devon to hit the 3D. Devon covers and Rob Terry gets in the referee’s face to prevent the count. Ray then takes out Terry with a right hand and goes up to the top rope. Doug Williams checks on Terry who are taken out by Ray who comes diving off the top rope! Williams then gets back up on the ring apron and Devon knocks him off sending him crashing through the table. In the ring, Devon takes a superkick and a DWI from Beer Money. Roode gets the pinfall and we have new champions.

– Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with Kurt Angle in an empty Main Event Mafia locker room. Angle said tonight isn’t about the Mafia and instead about him when he becomes the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion. He said the Mafia will resume their position on the throne in TNA and tells Samoa Joe that tonight is about them, but the Mafia will be celebrating instead.

Mick Foley (c) vs. Jeff Jarrett vs. TNA Legends Champion AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe vs. Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle wore a Pittsburgh Penguins jersey to the ring. Jeremy Borash did the ring introductions for the challengers TNA Legends Champion AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Jeff Jarrett, Kurt Angle and champion Mick Foley. During Foley’s introduction, Samoa Joe put a Detroit Red Wings jersey on and immediately went after Kurt Angle. Joe beat down Angle and refused to stop. The referee’s then send Joe to the penalty box right away and it now makes Angle eligible to hang the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

Kurt Angle is now eligible to hang the TNA World Championship.

The bell officiall rings as Jeff Jarrett and AJ Styles take turns hitting Angle with right hands. Styles with a huge dropkick that drops Angle that allows Jarrett to drop his body over Angle against the ropes. Jarrett with a kick to the head on Angle. Styles with covers on Angle and Angle continues to kick out. Mick Foley has remained standing on the ladder watching the match. Foley then gets into the ring, attempts a scoop slam on Jarrett, but allows Jarrett to fall on him for a pinfall that Foley allows. Joe leaves the penalty box and Foley now heads in.

Jeff Jarrett is now eligible to hang the TNA World Championship.

In the ring, Joe hits Jarrett with a body splash and a big kick to the head. Styles rolls and puts a headlock on Joe. Angle with a baseball slide into Angle on the outside. Jarrett throws Joe head first into the corner. Joe with an atomic drop on Jarrett, trip and body splash. Joe covers Jarrett and Jarrett gets a shoulder up. We see a shot of Foley saying this was all a plan for him to get pinned yelling it at Tenay and West. Joe is choking Jarrett with his boot in the corner as Angle and Styles battle on the outside. Time is up and Foley is not out of the penalty box. Joe clotheslines Angle out of the ring just as he came in. Foley hits the ring, hits Joe with some rights, but Joe comes back with some big elbows to the head. Joe grabs Foley and applies a rear naked choke. On the outside, Jarrett goes after Angle who was hitting Styles. Angle sends Jarrett over the guard rail into the crowd. In the ring, Joe chokes out Foley.

Samoa Joe is now eligible to hang the TNA World Championship.

Foley is rolled out of the ring and is headed to the penalty box as Angle brings a ladder in the ring. Joe ends up using the ladder against Angle and also gets in a shot on Jarrett. Joe throws Jarrett face first into the turnbuckle. We see a shot of a dazed Foley inside the penalty box. Joe sends Jarrett into the other corner and then gives Angle a suplex over the ladder! Jarrett runs up and takes a shot at Joe’s face. Jarrett positions the ladder up against the corner, grabs Joe, but Joe counters and sends Jarrett into the ladder in the corner! Time is up and Foley is wobbly leaving the penalty box. JOe has the ladder set up and grabs the TNA World Title. Joe starts climbing up the ladder and is near the top when Foley pushes the ladder over. Joe comes crashing down and falls on the bottom of the ladder back first! Foley starts kicking Joe on the mat when Styles walks up and gets in a few shots. Foley dumps Styles to the ring apron, picks up Joe and sends him back first into the ladder in the corner. Foley backs up, charges and Joe gives Foley a hip toss into the ladder! Jarrett grabs the ladder and attempts to climb up, but the ladder is damaged after Joe fell on it. Jarrett decides to grab the ladder and toss it to the outside at Angle who is walking by.

Jarrett grabs another ladder, sets it up in the ring, grabs the TNA Title and climbs up. Angle with a low blow on Jarrett and then attempts to clothesline Foley over the top rope, but Foley won’t go over. Angle instead works Foley with some stiff boots. Styles then comes up and gets in some kicks on Angle breaking it up. Styles takes the ladder and props it up in the corner. Styles counters a release german suplex by Angle, but Angle grabs Styles and suplexes him right back first into the ladder! Jarrett now has the guitar, but Angle kicks him in the shin and avoids it. Jarrett with a big kick, hooks the arms, Angle counters out with a back body drop into an Ankle Lock. Jarrett breaks free, grabs the guitar and cracks it over the head of Angle! Jarrett sets the ladder up and grabs the title. Foley walks up and yells at Jarrett to him him. Styles then dropkicks the ladder over dumping Jarrett and Foley off! Styles holds his lower back getting in some shots on Foley as Joe works over Jarrett. Foley is now climbing up on the top turnbuckle and gets to the top of the penalty box. Joe grabs the ladder and positions it in the ropes near the corner. Styles climbs up the turnbuckle and joins Foley on the top of the penalty box.

Foley grabs Styles, looks to hit a suplex, but Styles counters out. Styles looks to suplex Foley off the penalty box onto the announcers table, but Foley counters and tosses Styles from the penalty box back into the ring. In the ring, Joe has the choke locked in on Jarrett. Jarrett counters hitting jawbreaker and hits a Stroke on Joe into the ladder. Angle with an Angle Slam on Jarrett, cover and Jarrett kicks out. Foley jumps off the top of the penalty box and hits a flying elbow on Angle! Foley covers Angle and gets the pinfall.

Mick Foley is now eligible to hang the TNA World Championship.

Angle is headed to the penalty box now. Styles grabs his TNA Legends Title as Foley sets the ladder up and starts climbing. Styles hits Foley in the back with the belt and then kicks Foley off the ladder! Foley comes flying off the ladder onto the mat. Styles and Joe toss the ladder over as they both get in shots on Foley. Styles with a Pele Kick on Foley that sends Foley to the outside. Styles then works with Joe as Styles charges and Joe launches him over the top rope taking out Foley on the outside! Styles covers Foley on the outside and gets the pinfall.

AJ Styles is now eligible to hang the TNA World Championship.

Angle’s time is now up as he leaves the penalty box and Foley is going in. In the ring, Jarrett picks the ladder up and hits Joe with it. Jarrett then sets the ladder back up, grabs the title and starts climbing up. Styles is climbing up the other side as Jarrett hits him with some rights. Angle grabs the leg of Jarrett and Jarrett kicks him away. Jarrett drops the title as Angle picks him up. Jarrett then drops Angle with a DDT. Styles jumps down and crawls over to grab the TNA Title. Joe is now up and hits Styles with an elbow. Styles and Joe start exchanging elbows. Styles levels Joe with a huge dropkick when Joe hit the ropes. Time is now up and Foley is exiting the penalty box. Styles has the TNA Title in his hands. Foley then takes out Styles and takes the belt from him. Foley then cracks Styles with the TNA Title. Joe then kicks the title in the face of Foley. Foley rolls out and Jarrett goes after him with some right hands. Foley fires back with some rights of his own. Joe has the title and is climbing up the ladder. Styles grabs the leg of Joe and pulls him off. Joe comes flying off and falls to the mat. Styles starts climbing up the ladder putting the belt around his head. Joe grabs Styles, pulls him off, kicks Jarrett who comes in and hits Styles with some elbows. Styles irish whips Joe into the ropes who hits a suicide dive taking out Foley and Jarrett! Angle attempts an Angle Slam on Styles, but Styles counters and hits the Styles Clash on Angle! Styles grabs the belt, looks around, climbs up the ladder and Joe rolls in. Joe grabs Styles and powerbombs him off the ladder to the ring below. Joe grabs the belt, climbs up, Angle sees this and climbs up the other side. Joe has the belt in hand, stops, smiles, hands the belt to Angle, Angle smiles, grabs the TNA Title and hangs it! Angle grabs Joe and hugs him as he starts celebrating.

Winner & NEW TNA World Heavyweight Champion: Kurt Angle

After the match, Kurt Angle grabs the TNA World Heavyweight Championship and holds it up celebrating. Samoa Joe drops down and smiles as Angle continues to celebrate with Joe. We see a shot of the rest of the Main Event Mafia walking out on the ramp smiling as Angle and Joe continue to celebrate in the ring.
