Biography
– Brown played linebacker in the NFL from 1993 – 1996. He played for the Buffalo Bills from 1993-1995, and spent 1996 with the New England Patriots.
– Brown turned to wrestling in 1999 and would debut the following year
– Brown became a regular feature in the early days of NWA-TNA, but would not be brought back to the company following their 11th weekly PPV in August 2002
– Brown returned to TNA in early 2004
– At Victory Road 2004, Brown defeated Abyss & Raven in a Monster’s Ball Match
– At Turning Point 2004, Brown defeated Abyss in a “Serengeti Survival” Match.
– At Final Resolution 2005, Brown defeated Kevin Nash & Diamond Dallas Page, but then fell short against Jeff Jarrett
– At Against All Odds 2005, Brown & DDP defeated Team Canada (Eric Young & Bobby Roode)
– At Destination X 2005, Brown fought Trytan to a no-contest after Trytan ‘vanished’ during the match, replaced by a mystery masked man. In true TNA fashion, Brown pinned the masked man to win the match, only for Trytan to reappear on the entrance ramp, causing a no-contest. Brown would go on to turn heel in the main event, helping Jeff Jarrett retain the NWA World Title against DDP

– At No Surrender 2005, Brown & Kip James defeated 3 Live Kru (Ron Killings & Konnan)
– At Unbreakable 2005, Brown & Kip James defeated Lance Hoyt & Apolo
– On October 2, Brown defeated Bobby Roode in the final of a tournament to win the vacant PTW Heavyweight Title
– At Bound For Glory 2005, Brown defeated Lance Hoyt
– At Genesis 2005, Brown defeated Jeff Hardy
– On the 2005 Impact New Year’s Eve Special, Brown & Jeff Jarrett defeated Kenny King & Shark Boy
– At Victory Road 2006, Brown fought Rhino to a no-contest
– Brown’s TNA contract expired in September 2006
– On November 16, 2006, WWE’s website confirmed that Brown had signed with the company
– Brown debuted as ‘Marquis Cor Von’ on the January 16, 2007 edition of ECW on Sci Fi, and defeated Cassidy Reilly. His ring name was later simplified to ‘Marcus Cor Von’
– In June 2007, it was announced that Brown was taking a leave of absence from WWE due to unspecified ‘family issues’. He would not return to the company before his release on September 19, 2007, following which he officially retired from wrestling
