Biography

– Jones made his start in various Carolinas and Virginia-based independent promotions in the late 1990s as ‘Chilly Willy’
– On January 15, 2000, Willy defeated Toad to win the SCW Heavyweight Title
– Soon after this, Chilly Willy debuted in Extreme Championship Wrestling
– Chilly Willy made his ECW television debut in May and would become a semi-regular face on Hardcore TV through the year
– At November To Remember 2000, Willy & Balls Mahoney defeated Da Baldies (Angel & DeVito) in a Flaming Tables Match
– At ECW Guilty As Charged 2001, Balls Mahoney and Chill Willy fought Simon Diamond and Swinger to a no-contest because Rhyno attacked all four wrestlers. This would turn out to be Chilly Willy’s last ECW appearance
– After a few independent appearances in 2001, Jones enlisted in the US Army
– Jones received his discharge papers in April 2004 and opted to return to wrestling
– On September 15, 2004, Jones signed a WWE developmental contract and was assigned to OVW
– Chilly Willy defeated Seven on November 17, 2004 in his OVW debut, but would wrestle only a handful more matches before his release in April 2005
– On February 21, 2007, Willy defeated Trailer Park Heat to win the GOUGE Heavyweight Title
– On February 24, Willy defeated Jaheem The Dream to retain the GOUGE Heavyweight Title
– On March 31, Willy defeated Scab to retain the GOUGE Heavyweight Title
– On April 4, Willy defeated Otto Schwanz, CW Anderson & Trailer Park Heat to retain the GOUGE Heavyweight Title
– Jones no-showed consecutive GOUGE events in the summer of 2007 and was stripped of the championship. He would return to GOUGE later in the year, but never again held the title
– In 2009, Jones once again left the wrestling business
– In 2013, Chilly Willy came out of retirement for a pair of appearances with New Jersey’s FWF
– In 2017, Jones, now living in The Philippines, began working as a trainer for a pair of local promotions
