Biography

– Altieri began his career as ‘Mikey Batts’ in the Florida indies in the early 2000s
– Batts signed with TNA on August 26, 2004, having made several appearances as an enhancement talent for the promotion over the past six weeks
– On September 18, 2004, Batts & Jerrelle Clark defeated Mikey Tenderfoot & Justice to win the NWA Florida Tag Team Titles
– On February 26, 2005, Batts defeated Jerrelle Clark, Sedrick Strong, Mikey Tenderfoot, Johnny Vandal & Naphtali to win the NWA Florida X-Division Title
– On March 12, Batts defeated Naphtali to retain the NWA Florida X-Division Title
– On April 9, Batts defeated Roderick Strong to retain the NWA Florida X-Division Title
– On April 22, Batts defeated Jay Fury to retain the NWA Florida X-Division Title
– On May 6, Batts defeated Jerrelle Clark to retain the NWA Florida X-Division Title
– On June 17, Batts defeated Chasyn Rance to retain the NWA Florida X-Division Title
– In October 2005, Batts signed a WWE developmental contract, and was assigned to the Deep South territory
