Biography

– Murray began his career working for various northern independent promotions as ‘Rory McAllister’
– In early 2004, Rory formed a regular tag team with ‘brother’ Robbie, with the pair known as ‘The Highlanders’
– The Highlanders wrestled a WWE Heat taping on July 26, 2004, losing to Rhyno & Tajiri
– Both members of The Highlanders signed WWE developmental deals in July 2005 and were assigned to OVW
– In August 2005, The Highlanders began working Raw brand house shows
– The Highlanders debuted on the July 3, 2006 episode of Raw, but competed primarily on Heat going forward
– On August 15, 2008, WWE released the Highlanders
– On April 26, 2010, The Highlanders defeated Canadian Extreme (Kryss Thorn & CK Sexx) in the final of a tournament to win the vacant CWI Tag Team Titles
– Rory left the wrestling business in 2014
– Rory came back out of retirement for a run with the BOTB promotion in late 2018, through to 2019
– At the 2019 BOTB Christmas special, The Highlanders defeated 5 Most Wanted (Cody Hawk & Sean Casey) to win the vacant BOTB Tag Team Titles. Following the match, The Highlanders vacated the titles and Rory returned to retirement
