- David Silva from the Orlando Public Library and Ajoura Gwinn of the Carnegie Library of Homestead, PA, were crowned 2008 WrestleMania Reading Challenge National Champions last weekend and received trophies and ringside
seats to the WrestleMania live event at the Citrus Bowl. WWE held the competition for the second year in association with the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) to reach reluctant readers and get more teens reading beyond Teen Read Week. WWE Superstars CM Punk, The Miz and Matt Striker quizzed the two finalists about the books they read. The competition
received more than 30,000 participants from more than 1,170 different libraries across the United States.
- The list of matches that will be included in the new Rock DVD have been released by WWE's European distributor Silver Vision. The DVD - titled 'The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment' will contain three discs and
has a total of nineteen of the best matches in The Rock's career from 1997 to 2003. There are also seventeen interviews as part of the extras that will surely bring back memories to diehard Rock fans. Matches listed include vs Triple H, Owen Hart, Mankind, Steve Austin, Kane, Shane McMahon, Kurt Angle, Booker T, Hulk Hogan and others. This DVD will be out on June 10th and has a total running time of 540 minutes.
- UFC Fight Night did a 1.1 cable rating, and Ultimate Fighter debuted at a 1.3 cable rating.
